Genshin Impact has a ton of ways to earn extra materials, including the daily commissions. Every day, players will be given four random assignments to complete that can range from destroying a camp of Hilichurls to helping a child take their medicine. The NPC commissions can be a great way to learn more lore in Teyvat.

Sadly, some of the missions don’t do much to add to the world or just appear far too often. Others, on the other hand, show a much different side of the world and make players feel happy to complete them. There are even some that players will avoid completing despite the temptation of free Primogems.

10 Best: Stop, Albert, Stop!

Stop, Albert Stop is a mission that allows players to step into the world of an idol for a brief amount of time. Barbara is one, if not the most popular woman in Mondstadt due to her incredible singing voice, upbeat attitude, and willingness to help. Sadly, this does attract some negative attention.

The commission shows Albert, an avid fan of Barbara’s, that players are tasked with shooing away.

9 Worst: Where Is Unseen Razor

Unseen Razor is a Liyue commission that seems to pop-up way too often. The commission is given by Lan, who seems to have an unending amount of hope for finding this sword. She is so hopeful, in fact, that she sends the player all around Liyue to look for the weapon.

This is one of the commissions that have no actual conclusion, which has led the player base to be driven mad by it.

8 Best: Stairway To Wangshu

Stairway to Wangshu is a helpful achievement that actually changes the world. When the player first arrives at the Wangshu Inn, it’s apparent that the place is in a state of disrepair. In this mission, players are able to get wood for the stairs to help build a path to the top of the Inn.

Once the player completes the commission and finishes the repairs, it will never reappear again.

7 Worst: A Bottomless Appetite

A bottomless appetite is a commission that sends the players to Liyue, where they meet Yicheng. This is a hungry guard who will want the player to make him a specific dish that they may or may not already have, which can make the commission either simple or completely frustrating.

The player also needs to worry about collecting ingredients, and the guard can sometimes be a bit ungrateful.

6 Best: Tales Of Winter

For those who are interested in learning more about the Fatui, this is a mission that has a lot of lore to it. The mission starts with Viktor in the Mondstadt church, asking the Traveler to kill a monster and bring back specific loot. Doing so will allow them to ask him one question about the Fatui.

Once the player has done this commission three times and asked all three questions, they will get an achievement.

5 Worst: Urgent Repairs

Urgent Repairs is another mission that seems to like to appear several times a week. This sends the player to a location in Mondstadt where they will have to help one of three NPC’s repair their cart. This is a tedious small fetch quest with random bits of fighting thrown in.

Worse yet, is the fact that if the cart is attacked, it will take damage, meaning the player also has to defend.

4 Best: Language Exchange

While the violence against Hilichurls is still a much-debated topic amongst players, many can’t help but love Language Exchange. The commission has the player meet a child named Ella Musk, who has learned how to speak Hilichurls and wants the players help to talk with them.

The player will then have to slowly greet a friendly Hilichurl and have a little chat with them.

3 Worst: Food Delivery

It’s safe to say that the game’s community wasn’t all that thrilled with the food delivery event. While some of the deliveries could be a fun challenge, many left the players frustrated. Even the reward of Primogems couldn’t seem to make the event any more enticing.

It’s not surprising that when the food delivery commission was introduced that players wouldn’t take to it.

2 Best: Long Distance Love

For those looking for a bit of heartfelt romance in the game, Long Distance Love can be a fun commission. Godwin is a knight who has to stay outside of the city to do patrol. His girlfriend Glory is not able to visit him due to not being able to see well but often mentions him when spoken to.

The player just needs to deliver a sweet message to the young girl to make her day and earn Primogems.

1 Worst: Michelle Never Stops

This is another quest that likes to constantly pop-up, and some players are beginning to wonder if Michelle ever works. It’s a quest that takes place in the city of Mondstadt, and for most players just means skipping through some dialogue and giving up a Sunsettia before returning to Michelle.

Sadly, the mission is tedious and tends to appear several times a week for some players, which makes for a boring commission.
