If there were some Capcom games in the Nintendo eShop that you had your eyes on, now is the time to snap them up, as the Capcom publisher sale is due to run from now until October 2.
The titles on sale are mostly for Nintendo Switch, but there are a handful that are for the 3DS, too. Given the demise of that handheld line, now is the time to pick up any titles you reckon might be interesting, before online support is discontinued for the 3DS indefinitely.
Games on sale for Switch include Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition; Megaman Zero/ZX Legacy Collection, and Megaman 11; and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney trilogy. Alongside these popular series, you’ll also find Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, and Okami HD. All of these are enjoyable, and often beautiful games — I particularly like Okami and the Devil May Cry series.
The 3DS doesn’t have as many games in the sale as its friend the Switch; but it also includes its own Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and Monster Hunter games, alongside Resident Evil Revelations.
Prices for the sale range from $5.99 to $22.49, with most games hovering at around $9.99 or $14.99. As expected, some of the 3DS games are available at a huge discount of 60% off, while the Switch sale only goes as high as 50%. All in all, not a bad deal for some excellent games.
So if you ever wanted a chance to fight demons, take down robots, or even test your logic while defending innocent people in a court of law, it’s worth your while to check out the Switch and 3DS sales before they end on October 2. Even if you’re not totally sold on any of the games on offer, it could be a nice change of pace from the likes of Animal Crossing: New Horizonzs and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
