Ghost of Tsushima is full of choices, from Jin’s armor all the way down to what kind of reputation players want to grow; though the choices are diverse, they’re all made through combat decisions. Haiku give players the chance to embrace the samurai way and experience all sides of the warrior, expressing their feelings about certain topics. They can choose the lines and create haiku that are unique to them.
Despite the immersive experience characters get, headbands are also awarded for every haiku completed and can add a nice touch to an already customized look. The only downside is the remote locations players have to travel to reach them, despite the beautiful scenery that comes with it. Knowing the locations will cut down on travel time and take the stress out of the search, with more time to sharpen their sword skills in the meantime.
15 Hiyoshi (2)
Home to two of the haiku locations, the first location is just South of the Old Woodsman’s Canopy and East of Kukai’s Falls. At the top of the falls on the Eastern side, players will have to complete the haiku and receive the Headband of Hope.
The second is only available by talking to a man that sits on a rock to the North of Hiyoshi Springs, he’ll trigger the event by calling out to Jin as he approaches.
