Ghost of Tsushima appears to be the final exclusive to come to the PS4, and fans have grown very excited. The game has been in development for roughly five years now, and with the release of Ghost of Tsushima just a few weeks away, the excitement continues to grow. However, today marks an especially proud accomplishment for the game and its developers.

Fans have been excited for this game ever since the gameplay trailer was featured at E3 2018. That trailer featured high-res visuals, engaging gameplay, and intense violence. As the years went on, and as more details surrounding the game and its development started to surface, many in the gaming community grew to become extremely excited for the release of this game.

With the game a full twenty-five days away from its official release, Ghost of Tsushima has officially gone gold. When a game goes gold, it means that a full build of the game has been developed and is now ready to be mass-produced. Development of the game has officially wrapped up and the studio can now focus on mass-producing copies of the game.

It is always an exciting time when a game goes gold. It’s always a clear indication of progress and showcases how close players are to owning an official copy of the game. Though Ghost of Tsushima had its fair share of hiccups during the course of development, it’s nice to know that soon people will be able to experience this widely anticipated title for the first time.

In addition to going gold, the game has also received its official rating by the ESRB. Unsurprisingly, the game is rated M for Mature. This is, after all, a rather graphic and violent game, but then again that’s why games have ratings. To let consumers know what they are getting themselves into.

With all of this being said, it’s exciting to know that players will finally be able to get their hands on this game after so long. Unlike other PS4 titles, this game has gone under the radar by comparison to other PS4 exclusives. Hopefully, more people will be made aware of this game by the time it releases.

Ghost of Tsushima is set to release on July 17th, 2020.
