For those Ghost of Tsushima players who prefer sniping to katana-swinging, there’s no better outfit than Tadayori’s Armor. The Mongols may have conquered Tsushima, but once Jin is equipped with a trusty Yumi and this particular armor set they’ll soon be swimming home. Ghost of Tsushima lets players approach every fight differently, but choosing a play-style and perfecting it can be the key to victory.

Unfortunately, acquiring such a powerful tool as the armor of legendary archer Tadayori isn’t easy, and requires players to complete a Mythic quest. A journey that begins with a wandering bard, and leads to violet meadows, a secret map, and a mountain-top duel. Here’s how to complete it, and unlock Tadayori’s incredible armor set.

The Legend of Tadayori

As with all Mythic Armor quests, the first step to finding Tadayori’s armor is finding a bard to tell the story. This particular one can be found in Tsutsu, in an area called Rustling Bend. The people in the Golden Temple know exactly where and will mark his location on the map. The bard will instruct Jin to find violet flowers, which can be found just East of Kii’s pond, and will also be marked on the map.

Once there, follow the trail of violets up the spiral-shaped mountain to the top. There players will find the aptly-named Violet Crown, as well as some burning incense. Examine the container beside the incense to discover a map leading to the next location. The mysterious map doesn’t have any markings but is designed to be used on the Violet Crown, so don’t leave just yet.

The Last of the Blood

To find Tadayori’s resting place, compare the map to the horizon visible from the Violet crown. The prominent mountain covered in yellow trees is the next location, and players will find more violets to guide them when they get close. There’s no way to climb up, but look for a small lantern next to a crack in the rock at the base of the mountain, and pass through to the other side.

Here players will find Tadayori’s resting place, as well as his last living descendant, who takes Jin for a scavenger and demands a duel. Defeat her, and she will give the last clue to finding the armor: Azamo Bay. After fast-traveling to the marked location, players will find some Mongols and the bard who first started the quest. Simply defeat the Mongols and the armor is Jin’s for the taking, though be warned, he’ll need to defeat a second wave after he’s acquired it.

Ghost of Tsushima is out now exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
