Today, Ubisoft has now provided some fresh details for the Bolivia-based Ghost Recon: Wildlands’ forthcoming DLC known as Narco Road, which is set to drop for the tactical shooter’s Season Pass owners next week on April 18, 2017, with the expansion materials being released on April 25, 2017 at the cost of $15 for everyone else. As far as the main thrust of the add-on is concerned, Narco Road comes with new targets, new outfits, nine new weapons, and four new vehicle types–monster trucks, nitro-boosted muscle cars, motorcycles, and aerobatic planes, to be specific–to help players and their squad of Ghosts “dismantle a smuggling ring led by the elusive El Invisible.”

Ghost Recon: Wildlands’ Narco Road DLC also comes with 15 new campaign missions, four side missions, as well as a variety of different racing challenges, with each having the goal of earning followers. The more followers and respect that a player acquires with each race, the more that their will be ingratiated with the DLC’s gang bosses of whom will be major targets to be taken down with lethal prejudice.

As far as the bosses themselves in Ghost Recon: Wildlands’ Narco Road DLC are concerned, the expansion will incorporate three new bosses of whom players will need to earn respect in order to more easily infiltrate El Invisible’s gangs. Each of the bosses in the forthcoming add-on is the head of a gang with its own identity, with there being the Kamikazes, Jinetes Locos, and the Death Riders.

In addition to Ghost Recon: Wildlands’ Narco Road DLC, Ubisoft also announced that there will be a free title update coming on April 14, 2017 that will add weekly “live season challenges,” offering unique rewards for completing solo, co-op, and community tasks. For those interested, the challenges are going to last for six weeks and will feature a specific theme, beginning with The Rise and Fall of Unidad, in which “players gather intel on Unidad’s operations and combat the threat to the country.”

While the Narco Road DLC will be a great way to expand the post-launch shelf life of Ghost Recon: Wildlands, there are many players who are still clamoring for the title’s free PvP update that was promised prior to the tactical shooter’s launch. With any luck, Ubisoft will soon add the 4v4 mode that will let rival Ghost squads fight for supremacy in the game’s fictional version of Bolivia.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
