The Humble store is currently having a huge sale on horror games, and it’s any horror fanatic’s dream. You can save up to 85% on a crazy wide selection of games, including a bunch from AAA series like Resident Evil and Outlast.

Humble’s Horror Sale will be running from now until around next week Thursday or so. Plenty of time to peruse the virtual shelves and pick up some classic spooks at outrageously reasonable prices.

If you’re feeling a little too indecisive and need some direction, we thought we would lay out some of our top picks out of the selection on offer for you to consider.

There is of course the Resident Evil franchise, with the latest installment - being this year’s remake of the 1999 classic Resident Evil 3 - occupying a top spot on the Humble list. Despite its relatively mixed reviews, the Resident Evil 3 remake is still a great option for any fan of the legendary horror series who has been waiting for the game to go on sale before giving it a whirl. You can pick it up now for $39.59 - a good 34% cheaper than its original list price of $59.99.

A truly magnificent option is Bloober Team’s Layers of Fear, whose Amnesia-esque atmosphere and visuals combined with more than a few unforgettable creep-filled moments make for a super overall horror experience. Humble is offering that for a full 80% off, now going for $3.99.

Then you’ve probably heard of Supermassive Games’ most recent endeavor The Dark Pictures Anthology, with Man of Medan - the first of eight episodic installments - having been released last year. A few days ago, the developers announced that the next episode will be arriving on October 30th 2020, so if you’re yet to play the first then why not pounce while it’s going for half price? Get it now for $14.99.

For some gruesome, adrenaline-fuelled fun, you could go for some Outlast games (both the first and second games, as well as the Whistleblower DLC are going for crazy low prices). Otherwise, take a gander at the BioShock selection on sale too - a series which isn’t really very horror-y at all but hey! Still on sale, and still not to be missed.

And there are so many others still, which you can have a browse through yourself right here. Go wild!
