God Eater fans! There’s a tiny Shio figurine that you can pre-order now and place on your desk sometime in 2021.
Let’s be real: God Eater isn’t even on the top 10 of action RPG games that got started on the PSP, but it’s having a bit of a renaissance lately thanks to the anime finding its way to Netflix and thanks to last year’s Nintendo Switch port of God Eater 3. And if you’re a God Eater fan, you’ll be happy to note that at least one store is still catering to your strange tastes.
Ami Ami is now taking pre-orders for a Shio figurine that’ll ship out in January of 2021. Shio, if you recall, is the human-like Arigami that eventually saves the planet by fusing her consciousness with Nova and takes it to the moon. She also has the ability to manifest a sword God Arc, which you can see in the figurine.
“From the teamwork-based speed hunting game ‘GOD EATER’ comes a 1/8th scale figure of the Aragami girl Shio,” reads the description on Ami Ami. “The Fenrir flag she wears as an outfit and the God Arc grown from her hand have been carefully recreated. Be sure to take a closer look at her innocent, energetic face and pose and her detailed God Arc when you take her home!”
Shio is about 10-inches tall and priced at 15,970 yen, or roughly $150 USD. Shipping is available to every country on Earth via DHL, but you’ll have to use the website to calculate shipping costs.
Keep in mind that COVID-19 is causing havoc with global supply chains, so while the figurine will ship in January, it might be a while before you actually receive it. You might even get a new God Eater game first.
