There’s no doubt that Sony and Santa Monica Studio’s forthcoming action-adventure epic, God of War, is one of the most highly anticipated games of 2018, especially since its launch will mark roughly eight years since the previous mainline installment’s release. Considering such a lengthy wait – and the fact that the game is a PlayStation exclusive – many expect Sony to sell the forthcoming title in a console bundle, which could be the case according to a recent listing online.

As seen in the screenshot below of the Bulgarian site known as Ozone, God of War fans looking to play the game at launch with the most pristine graphics possible could be in luck, for it appears as if the aforementioned retailer has inadvertently leaked the existence of a PlayStation 4 Pro bundle with the action-adventure release. According to the listing – which has since been removed – the potential God of War PS4 Pro bundle will be a limited edition product that comes with both God of War and a 1 TB hard drive.

While a God of War PS4 bundle seems like a given considering the franchise’s importance in PlayStation history, there’s no telling whether or not such a package will come to be until Sony officially announces it. Not to mention, the listing on Ozone could only be indicative of the PS4 Pro bundle being sold exclusively within the country of Bulgaria due to the fact that it has been the only retailer thus far to advertise it.

Taking everything into consideration, a God of War PlayStation bundle is likely an inevitability, but until Sony and Santa Monica Studio openly reveal its existence, it’s best for fans to not get their hopes up just yet. All we can do at this point is continue to count down the days until GoW’s release date and keep our fingers crossed that a PS4 bundle will eventually be offered.

God of War is set to launch on April 20, 2018 for PlayStation 4.
