Each month, fans subscribed to Google Stadia Pro can claim a number of free gamers, and July is no exception. Google has confirmed four free games that Google Stadia Pro subscribers will be able to claim come July 1, which includes a brand new, timed-Stadia exclusive Crayta.

Beginning July 1, Google Stadia Pro subscribers can claim SteamWorld Dig, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Crayta, and West of Loathing for their Stadia libraries. SteamWorld Dig 2 has already been part of the Stadia Pro free games lineup, so now fans can complete their collection. Monster Boy is a critically-acclaimed release, and West of Loathing has earned strong reviews as well. Crayta is the only wild card here, but its status as a timed-Stadia exclusive makes it more interesting.

For the uninitiated, Crayta is an ambitious creation game that encourages Stadia players to utilize its vast creation tools to make their own experience. Crayta has a focus on online multiplayer as well, and overall, it’s an experience that isn’t available on other platforms. Crayta’s inclusion goes a long way in making the free Stadia Pro games for July 2020 especially appealing to Pro subscribers.

But despite the high quality of games on offer, it remains to be seen if the Stadia Pro free games for July 2020 are enough to convince people to stick with the platform. Stadia has struggled to develop a dedicated community of players, largely due to a lack of must-play exclusives. Google has first-party studios working on Stadia exclusives, but it remains to be seen when their games will become available.

Google has confirmed a Stadia Connect presentation on July 14 as part of Summer Game Fest that should give fans a look at the platform’s future. Stadia Connect presentations are not unlike Nintendo Directs or PlayStation State of Plays, with Google using them to showcase new and previously-announced titles as well as reveal general Stadia news, so fans of the platform should be sure to tune in.

In the meantime, Google Stadia Pro subscribers can claim all four of these games come July 1. It’s unclear if any of the other Stadia Pro free games will be rotated out, so those interested should also be sure to claim those as well while they still can.
