Sucker Punch Productions’ Ghost of Tsushima has been a huge success for the studio and Sony, becoming the PlayStation 4’s fastest-selling first-party debut for a new intellectual property. Today, a co-op mode called Ghost of Tsushima: Legends that will let two-to-four players team up against supernatural entities inspired by Japanese mythology was announced for fall 2020, and that free new content will reportedly not include any microtransactions. A PlayStation representative confirmed to IGN on behalf of Sucker Punch that all content in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends will be unlocked through regular gameplay, and there are “absolutely no plans” to add microtransactions....
With Ghost of Tsushima’s new multiplayer mode out, players are still figuring out how to best work each of the classes. A former employee at Microsoft’s game streaming service Mixer came forward with an account of racially insensitive behavior from a manager within the company over the weekend, as well as allegations that the company failed to act after attempts to report the incident were ignored by leadership.
