Barely a week after v12.20 was released, Fortnite experienced some downtime in preparation for the release of the 12.21 update. Early this morning, the battle royale underwent some scheduled maintenance for a couple of hours as the new update was added to the game. Fortnite is up and running again, but unlike the previous update, nothing has been secretly added or removed. Despite releasing to relatively poor reviews and being bogged down by a long list of technical issues, Friday the 13th: The Game has proven to be quite popular with the gaming community.
