Fortnite is about to get even more competitive after Epic announced the World Champions Series. At last weekend’s Fortnite World Cup, announcer Sundown revealed Epic’s plans for the next stage of competitive Fortnite. It’s called the Fortnite Champions Series, and it will change the way people compete in the world’s most popular battle royale. The full details are expected to be revealed by the time Season 10 starts (which is currently expected to be August 1st), but we do have a few details to go on already....

Final Fantasy XV Official Works finally has a U.S. release date. Final Fantasy XV, which was hailed as a Final Fantasy title for veterans and beginners, was released back in 2016. Final Fantasy XV is one of the newer titles in the popular Square Enix franchise. The story surrounds Noctis as he travels with his friends to reclaim his kingdom, which has been taken over by the empire of Niflheim. The game was praised for the friendship between its four main characters, beautiful open world, and fun combat style, but it was knocked for a rushed final act with a high focus on linearity....

Them’s Fightin’ Herds is an indie fighting game that shocked the scene. What started as a My Little Pony fangame has evolved into a beautifully animated and highly competitive release. Two of the most popular franchises in the world announced a collaboration today at Gamescom, and it’s a bizarre one - Final Fantasy 15 and Assassin’s Creed Origins will be paying homage to each other with content in both games. The announcement was made by the development teams behind both games, including Final Fantasy 15 director Hajime Tabata and Assassin’s Creed Origins director Ashraf Ismail, and was officially unveiled alongside artwork showcasing both games’ protagonists at Gamescom earlier today....
