Day one patches are nothing new these days, as most new releases feature some last minute tweaks or improvements and Ghost Recon: Wildlands is no exception. While official patch notes have not been posted by Ubisoft, fans have started to see update files for versions 1.01 and 1.02 start to download over the weekend. Thanks to initial reports, the total update comes in around 3GB and both patches appear to have sizable impacts on the game....
The next God of War game is still officially scheduled for a 2021 release according to Sony. However, Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier might have just let out a hint about a possible delay. The God of War community in general has had doubts about the game arriving in 2021, for months now. A new report suggests Google passed up on a Hideo Kojima horror title for Stadia. It looks like the tech giant was not interested in bringing Kojima’s project to the cloud gaming service Stadia. Final Fantasy 7 is stepping into the realm of Battle Royale with a mobile spin-off. Square Enix announces that the new game, titled Final Fantasy 7: The First Soldier, will feature the kind of gameplay that one would expect in a battle royale while adding spells, summons, and even Chocobos into the battlefield. The mobile game takes place in Midgar, 30 years before the events of Final Fantasy 7. Square Enix’s long-awaited remake of the 1997 video game classic Final Fantasy VII Remake has now been out for enough time for fans to play to completion. Alongside a plethora of other changes in the Fortnite v7.30 update, developer Epic Games is adding a new type of healing item, the environmental campfire, to the battle royale game. The Better Business Bureau (BBB), a North American nonprofit designed to inform consumers and encourage self-regulation by industry, is assigning its lowest rating, an “F,” to Fortnite developer Epic Games. Epic, at the time of reporting, has received 247 unanswered complaints filed against it by customers, as well as a near 1-star review average across 28 customer reviews. The rating has no direct punishment associated with it, as the BBB is not a regulatory body, but it stands as a badge of infamy online nonetheless....
Fortnite has had no shortage of crossover skin additions, though its Marvel content is second-to-none. Just recently, the video game developer Epic Games brought some alterations to the wildly popular multiplayer sandbox survival title Fortnite, as the studio buffed building materials and nerfed SMGs in order to bring a better balance into the shooter’s meta. Now, it appears as if Epic is also set to introduce more tweaks to the game by making a major change to how mouse and keyboard matchmaking operates.
