With the recent launch of the third and final stage of the Lantern Rite Festival, Genshin Impact players must venture out one final time, to find the precious chests revealed by Brother Qian’s Illumiscreen. Players will receive the same reward as the previous two Illumiscreen Lantern Rite Tales, but will also receive an additional bonus for completing the questline. To unlock the quest, Genshin Impact players must reach festival rank “Glow Of A Thousand Lanterns” by completing all previous Lantern Rite Tales, and the " Light Upon the Sea" story quest....

Praetorium is base-game A Realm Reborn’s final dungeon and every player will invariably end up running it at some point while playing Final Fantasy XIV. This eight-member dungeon has a runtime of nearly an hour, more running around than a Looney Toons cartoon, and boss encounters that at best can be described as a total snooze. However, Praetorium is also one of two possible instances players can be dropped into when queueing up for daily Main Story Scenario dungeons, which means longtime players who are leveling alternate classes will be thrown into Praetorium alongside players who are brand new to the dungeon....

Before Fire Emblem: Three Houses came out, there were a majority of fans that want to teach the Black Eagle house. Many people were interested in how Edelgard was going to play a role in the game. She was also responsible for telling fans that the crests were to blame. As characters slowly get revealed, the Black Eagles have an interesting cast that mostly consists of nobles, and depending on the route chosen, their roles will be at risk if they can be recruited or not....

In a recent interview, voice actress Cissy Jones revealed that Firewatch was originally meant to have a much darker ending without her character Delilah. Back in 2016, Campo Santo’s Firewatch was highly regarded as one of the year’s best indies and walking simulators, taking players into the beautiful landscapes of Shoshone National Forest. Though the story was noted as being a gripping mystery, many felt that the ending fell somewhat flat....

Keita Takahashi and Funomena announced Wattam last December at Sony’s PlayStation Experience with a short trailer that showed the game’s main character - a green cube with a moustache named the Mayor - trying on different hats. Also, he had a bomb on his head. It exploded off-screen. It was weird. Now, Wattam’s first official gameplay footage has surfaced, and it’s just as bizarre as that initial trailer. That’s not necessarily surprising - Takahashi is the mad genius behind Katamari Damacy and Noby Noby Boy, while his collaborator (and Funomena co-founder) Robin Hunicke made her name with boundary-pushing titles like Journey - but it is baffling....

As has become common place with many major multiplatorm EA titles, the PS3 version of Battlefield 3 was supposed to come with a free game for those who picked up the limited edition. The game in this case being Battlefield 1943. Sadly, as PS3 owners opened up their pre-orders yesterday they probably noticed one thing: Battlefield 1943 was nowhere to be found. In the past, EA titles with similar promotions have all featured the content on disc - players would simply need to install the content from the blu-ray in order to play it....

Since Football Manager originated in 2004, Sports Interactive’s series has gone from strength to strength to the point where it’s now one of the biggest names in both the sport and management genres. Football Manager 21 has continued the series’ impressive consistency, exemplified by its 85 Metascore that made it the review aggregator’s fourth highest-rated sports game in 2020. The series’ rise in prominence has resulted in numerous new players giving the games a try, despite not being too knowledgable about the sport....

In anticipation of a larger reveal at E3 2016, Ubisoft releases a trailer teasing the arrival of the vikings in the upcoming hack and slash action game For Honor. Ubisoft’s E3 2015 press conference saw the announcement of a number of new game sequels, but one of the more popular games from the event was the brand new IP For Honor. It looks as though For Honor will have a presence at this year’s E3 as well, as Ubisoft has released a teaser trailer for the game that focuses on its viking faction....

Ubisoft’s melee combat game For Honor has amassed a large character roster since it released in 2017, including a crossover with the Prince of Persia franchise. As part of its Year 4, Season 2 of content, “Tyranny,” For Honor has added a new warrior type called the Warmongers who aim to unite renegade members of every faction so they can “start a new era” devoid of the old gods. The Warmonger class uses five variants of a two-handed sword called the flamberge, has control over a dark power called Corruption, and can charge attacks with razor-sharp claws built into their armor....

Its report was mostly centered around the big corporate names like Google, Apple, and Netflix, but they also offered a breakdown of the most-searched-for gaming brands in the world, and for some reason, Epic Games topped the list. To figure out why let’s first establish that BusinessFinancing.co.uk basically just used Google Keywords planner to measure search volume for certain brands for all of 2020....

CFO Blake Jorgensen reveals that Jade Raymond’s Motive Studios are working on a new action focused IP, similar to Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed games. While speaking at the UBS Global Technology Conference in San Francisco, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen revealed a bit more insight into what newly hired GM, Jade Raymond, is up to at her development house, Motive Studios. After Patrick Soderlund hinted at such a possibility last month, Jorgensen put to rest any potential doubt and confirmed that EA is looking for Raymond’s group to help EA tap into the action genre, similarly to what Ubisoft is doing with many of their franchises, especially Assassin’s Creed....

Jacob “pyth” Mourujärvi, a former member of team Ninjas in Pyjamas has announced his retirement from competitive CS:GO in favor of moving onto VALORANT. In his TwitLonger statement, pyth wrote how after nine years of competition he was thankful to the people that he has worked with along the way, but that over the last few years he has not felt as though he managed to return to a level he was one on, nor found a place where he belonged....
