Epic Games has made a big decision with regards to Fortnite’s console cross-play pool. As of today’s update for the battle royale, patch 8.10, the Nintendo Switch has been removed from matchmaking with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Fortnite players. Instead, Nintendo Switch players will from here on be matched with the mobile cross-play pool including iOS and Android devices. According to Epic Games, it believes that Nintendo Switch players will have an “on-average better per game experience” while placed in the mobile cross-play pool....

Bruno Mars is the latest celebrity to have their dance moves put into the world of Fortnite, with a brand new emote made by the singer hitting the shop. Bruno posted a video of him performing the dance in real life next to a Fortnite character copying his moves. The emote is set to the music of Leave The Door Open, the new single from Silk Sonic, a collaboration between Mars and Anderson....

Epic Games has confirmed that the Fortnite servers are currently down, and it is actively investigating the situation. Thousands of Fortnite players have reported that they are unable to log in to the game’s servers, and at the time of this writing, there is no ETA on when the game’s servers will be restored....

As the days and weeks press on, Epic Games continues to update its free-to-play title, Fortnite Battle Royale, as the studio recently introduced some Wreck-It Ralph crossover content into the game, with the titular Disney character making a cameo at Risky Reels. I did not hate Ghostbusters: Afterlife. The next big Batman game from WB Montreal is actually confirmed, as Gotham Knights finally got a reveal during DC FanDome. During the August 22 presentation, a trailer was revealed in which Bruce Wayne died. He calls upon Nightwing, Batgirl, Red Hood, and Robin to take his place as Gotham’s new protectors. Thanks to this, we now know that Gotham Knights has four playable characters, and will release in 2o21....
