This recent attack on the app is in response to Robinhood halting stock trading for GameStop, the gaming retailer that set off this whole situation due to the way a number of hedge funds had been manipulating the market. However, as the Redditors and other onlookers retaliated against Robinhood by review bombing the app on the Google Play Store, Google rushed in to halt the quick ratings decline....

Google’s GDC 2019 keynote address revealed its Stadia gaming platform, which aims to be the next-generation of video gaming. Google showed off some tech demos of what Stadia is capable of and also revealed some of the games potentially coming to the platform, including Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Doom Eternal, and NBA 2K. Some of the presenters at the keynote also talked about what Google Stadia would be capable of from a hypothetical standpoint, including 1,000 player battle royale matches....

Square Enix has debuted a new website in preparation for Final Fantasy 11’s upcoming 20th anniversary next year. The website, called We Are Vana’Diel, is available in both Japanese and English and will serve as a countdown of sorts where information about the anniversary celebration will be revealed. The game will officially turn 20 on May 16, 2022. Fans of Final Fantasy have to wait a little longer for the eventual release of the upcoming Final Fantasy 16. As per what the trailers revealed, it seems Square Enix’s new entry to the hit franchise will try to go back to the series’ high fantasy setting. In the story, six factions arrive at the brink of war through Eikons, monsters summoned by gifted humans called Dominants. Additionally, FF16 gameplay seems to combine the tactical premise of older titles with the real-time elements of recent games....
