Great games can’t exist without villains constantly pushing players to persevere. For the Final Fantasy series, it’s perhaps Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy 6 that remain close to fans of the franchise. Five Nights at Freddy’s creator re-releases the controversial spin-off role-playing game Five Nights at Freddy’s World on Steam for free, with additional content. Franchise creator Scott Cawthon knew that he let down Five Nights at Freddy’s fans with the initial release of Five Nights at Freddy’s World, an RPG spin-off of the main series. Indie developer RyseUp Studios is happy to announce that its roguelike FPS title Roboquest is now available on Steam Early Access. Combining a cel-shaded graphical style (inspired by the likes of Borderlands) with a post-apocalyptic story, the game looks to tickle that co-op shooting itch you may be dealing with. George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire book series has been incredibly popular even before the television adaptation began airing on HBO. In 2003, Fantasy Flight released a board game based on the series that was updated in 2011 around the release of the show’s first season according to Dicebreaker, and now A Game of Thrones: The Board Game will be releasing on Steam later this year. The digital edition of the Game of Thrones board game, being developed by Dire Wolf, was first announced by publisher Asmodee Digital with a teaser trailer in late 2019....

On April 8, a gamer in Las Vegas, Nevada was apprehended by police officers, and faces terrorism charges over extreme statements made in Blizzard Entertainment MOBA, Heroes of the Storm. Blizzard alerted authorities after Michael Mickowski, 26, apparently sent in-game chat messages threatening to commit a mass shooting at an elementary school.
