Plenty of questions arose when we first got word that BioWare was intent on expanding the Mass Effect universe through anime. It appears that the Epic Games Store exclusivity for Satisfactory is officially coming to an end surprisingly soon. Satisfactory developer Coffee Stain Studios announced in February that its game would be coming to Steam… eventually. Coffee Stain is now ready to share a release date. Satisfactory is launching on Steam June 8. “I know it’s been frustrating that we haven’t been able to announce an official date until now (believe me, it’s been frustrating for us as well),” says Coffee Stain’s Snutt, explaining as much as they’re able why it took so long to put out a release date....

Fortnite Battle Royale’s Season 8 has officially gone live across its supported platforms, with the free-to-play shooter from Epic Games having received a bevy of different changes, including some related to the title’s map. As has been the case with previous seasons, though, Epic still has plenty more content planned, with the developer having recently teased that Fortnite will be adding a Buried Treasure item in the near future. According to Fortnite Battle Royale’s in-game news feed, the multiplayer release will be getting the Buried Treasure item “soon”, with the object coming in the form of what appears to be a treasure map that will assist players in “scour[ing] the island for hidden loot”....

After a slower than expected launch back in July, Fortnite has picked up incredible momentum thanks in large part to its recently added free mode, Battle Royale. Even though the mode has caught the ire of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds developer Bluehole, Fortnite’s latest mode featured over 1 million players at launch, helping to push the game past the 7 million players mark in total. With an increased amount of players now in game, Epic Games is looking to ease some confusion by explaining how the game handles certain things such as weapon accuracy....

Epic Games’ popular shooter Fortnite is in a fairly interesting spot at the moment being between seasons in the Battle Royale side of the game. With season 7 having wrapped up earlier this month, players have been taking part in Overtime Challenges in an effort to unlock the upcoming season 8 battle pass for free. At the same time, Epic continues to provide subtle hints that more map changes are on the way, with cracks starting to appear all over the map....

Fortnite and the popular DJ and electronic music producer Marshmello accomplished something incredible today, hosting a live, 10-minute in-game concert for Fortnite battle royale players around the world to enjoy together. Around 2:00 pm ET, all Fortnite players participating in the current Limited Time Mode, the Team Rumble, were transported to Pleasant Park. Once there, all players automatically had their weapons and HUD disabled and were treated to an exclusive live concert filled with fireworks, anti-gravity, emotes, and, of course, Marshmello’s tunes....

Ghost of Tsushima officially launches today on PlayStation 4. With the game now available to play, developer Sucker Punch is relaxing some and sharing details about Ghost of Tsushima’s development. In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Sucker Punch co-founder Brian Fleming a fun story regarding Ghost of Tsushima’s origins. One of the details that Fleming revealed is that before deciding to make Ghost of Tsushima, Sucker Punch considered making a pirate game....
