The Friday the 13th video game released in May this year on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, though the launch was not without its problems, as fans reported major technical issues with the horror title. Developer IllFonic seems to have gotten over the worst of it, though, and the team is now gearing up to release the physical edition of the game later this year. The tragic outbreak of the Coronavirus has seen the delay and cancellation of a number of major events. The release of films like F9, Black Widow, and No Time to Die have all had to be pushed back to accommodate for the virus, while events like E3, GDC, and the Overwatch League have all be canceled while the outbreak persists. GameStop has announced that it plans to reopen some of its stores and cut executive salaries by up to 50%. GeForce Now added several new features this week, including the ability to link your Fortnite account – meaning you’ll no longer have to enter credentials every time you jump into a match. The account-linking feature is only compatible with Fortnite, although GeForce Now is hoping to roll it out to other titles in the future. When using GeForce Now on PC, macOS, or Chromebook, you can enable the feature from the new tile located in the My Library menu....

Genshin Impact’s Albedo may sound a little aloof and uninterested at times, but underneath that cold exterior, there’s an artist who cares deeply for others, like Klee. Earlier this week, Ubisoft launched its latest update for the tactical shooter Ghost Recon: Wildlands, which brought a pretty large offering of content to the table that included a crossover with the world of Rainbow Six Siege. Interestingly enough, some fans have now found that the update also includes a sly nod to the once-in-development, but now totally cancelled Rainbow Six Patriots, with Wildlands’ development team having hidden an Easter egg in plain sight....
PS5’s DualSense controller is the future of gaming, according to one developer. Sony has already delivered impressive previews of what to expect from the next-gen console, and now the system’s DualSense tech has received a glowing review. During an interview with the Official PlayStation Magazine UK, Counterplay Games CEO Keith Lee discussed his company’s upcoming PS5 launch title, Godfall, and gave the next-gen console’s technology his seal of approval. Lee was keen to highlight the system’s specs by dubbing its 60FPS at 4K as “the future, that’s given”....
