Just earlier this month, Epic Games was sued by rapper 2 Milly for its use of his well-known Milly Rock dance move in Fortnite. Now, the Fresh Prince of Bel Air star Alfonso Ribeiro, who played Carlton Banks in the ’90s sitcom, is accusing the game’s creators of using his character’s popular dance move without permission or compensation. Ribeiro filed a lawsuit against Fortnite studio Epic Games, seeking unspecified damages related to its use of his “iconic intellectual property”....

The Nintendo Switch eShop just got a Fortnite update despite the fact the game still hasn’t even been officially announced. It’s starting to look more and more like Fortnite on the Nintendo Switch is going to be a thing. First, there was the leak of Nintendo’s E3 booth layout that seemed to come from 4Chan’s games forum. Right at the top is the unmistakable name of Fortnite. There’s also a bunch of other unannounced games, including Dragon Ball FighterZ, Killer Queen Black, Paladins, and Overcooked 2....

There’s a new Jason lumbering his way to Friday the 13th: The Game and he’s bringing along a deadly new weapon. Part 4 Jason is ripped straight from the forth chapter in the movie franchise. Note that this is an entirely new Jason and not a skin. This means he will be joining Friday the 13th with his own perks and, in this case, a new weapon called the Pig Splitter, which is basically a long-handled butcher knife....

New Pokemon Snap is out today and the consensus is that the game successfully captures the charm and quality of its ‘90s predecessor (check out our full review here). There’s no question that Mass Effect: Andromeda’s character models look a little off. In the gaming industry it’s fairly common for larger developers and publishers to close down their smaller studios. It seems to be happening at least once and month, and when it does most gamers are sad to see a beloved member of the industry go. Occasionally, though, a studio decides to cut off on its own, like Gears of War: Judgment developer People Can Fly did this week, separating from Epic Games....

Honestly, I’m glad that Mihoyo didn’t go for another element-oculus like their Amenoculus and Geoculus collectibles in the Dragonspine region. Instead of having some mysterious ethereal spirit to collect, you’ll be collecting Crimson Agate, and these items are spread all over the Dragonspine region in Genshin Impact’s latest big update. The new region has a lot of secrets to find, such as the collection of Ancient Stone Tablets, and there are a bunch of new things to learn and keep in mind, such as the mountain’s dangerous Sheer Cold which can easily kill you, or the mysterious ice that prevents you from activating the Statue of the Seven atop the Dragonspine mountain....

Albedo can first be found studying on Dragonspine mountain in Genshin Impact, where he begins to experiment on the Traveler. While the two become fast friends, it’s apparent that Albedo has research on his mind at all times. He is a famed alchemist, a mentor to Sucrose, a friend to Mona, and a popular artist. Albedo isn’t shy like Sucrose but tends to find little interest in others. Despite his many talents, though, Albedo has a strange backstory that points to him likely not being completely human....

The Golden Apple Archipelago is a huge new area added to give fans summertime vibes in Genshin Impact 1.6. The islands are a mysterious place packed with fun activities for you to take part in. While the event page will likely take a good portion of your time, there are some puzzles to solve around the Golden Apple, like the lake puzzle on Broken Island. E3 2017 finally delivered more news on Sony Santa Monica’s next God of War game, a title that had previously gone dark after its announcement at the previous year’s E3. As part of December 8’s Patch 5.4, Final Fantasy 14 introduced changes to six combat jobs, including a substantial rework to the Monk job. Many of the changes to Monk relate to the former buff Greased Lighting, which now works as a trait. With the introduction of Patch 5.4, Monks no longer have to keep up a combo to maintain Greased Lighting. Greased Lighting used to improve damage and overall attack speed as long as the player kept performing a certain combo....

Final Fantasy 15 had a number of impressive qualities at launch, but perhaps none were as noticeable immediately as the game’s environmental design. The world of Final Fantasy 15 is vast, expansive, and breathes, with every step Noctis and his band of brothers takes offering the chance to glimpse something beautiful, whether it be a flower they’ve never seen before or the flight of a gigantic creature, so large it barely registers that the protagonist is even in its presence....

With the release of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade and the two additional Yuffie chapters looming large on the horizon, it’s perhaps unsurprising to learn that the title has already received its ESRB rating. What is a little unexpected, however, is that the new chapters are going to contain blood. At least if the game’s PlayStation Store page is to be believed, anyway. Although the new rating has not yet appeared on the ESRB webpage, an updated rating can be found on the PlayStation Store page for the game....
