While George Orwell’s 1945 novella Animal Farm was originally written as a satire of the rise of totalitarianism in the Soviet Union, the allegorical story of revolution and the abuse of political power has managed to remain relevant throughout the decades. In that time, the book has been adapted a few times, and today it was confirmed that the first video game adaptation will be coming next month. A collaboration between publisher The Dairymen, developer Nerial, and Orwell’s estate, Orwell’s Animal Farm was confirmed to be launching this fall when it was first announced in August....

Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima is a hauntingly beautiful RPG, but its score stands as a separate entity and accolade altogether. Thanks to its monastery exploration function, Fire Emblem: Three Houses features the largest Marketplace yet. After today’s v15.10 update, Fortnite can now run at 120fps on all next-gen consoles. The lightning-fast frame rate is supported in both Battle Royale and Creative modes, although your resolution will take a hit in order to achieve the increased performance. Activating the new mode is simple – just head into the Video settings and toggle the new “120 FPS Mode.” Of course, performance comes at the cost of graphics, and the dip in image quality varies by platform....

Fortnite is disabling a specific weapon from being used in competitive playlists. The decision comes after extensive feedback from Fortnite’s player base. Epic Games’ popular free-to-play battle royale title is well into its fifth season of its Chapter 2. Eager fans who were preparing to attend GameStop midnight release events for Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Doom Eternal will be met with disappointing news. The company has revealed that it plans to cancel all midnight releases due to the current coronavirus threat. The information about the cancellation comes from an internal memo that was sent out to GameStop employees and obtained by website Kotaku. According to what was said in the memo, GameStop will be cancelling all midnight release events for the foreseeable future (which incorporates those for Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Doom Eternal) as well as shutting down demo stations within stores....
