It appears there is exciting news for fans of all things Final Fantasy VII, as 2004’s Before Crisis mobile title has received a well-made fan translation using RPG Maker. The game has only existed in Japanese because it was a region exclusive in Japan and never received an official localization in North American markets, but Before Crisis has now been translated to English. Necromunda: Hired Gun is a fast paced, shooter set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Unfortunately for developer Streum On, reports about the game’s audio and performance were reported within days of its recent launch. Today, Behaviour Interactive released the Nightmare on Elm Street add-on pack for Dead by Daylight, which adds, among other things, Freddy Krueger as a new killer. The devs have been teasing Freddy for a while now, but the dream demon has finally arrived. The Dead by Daylight: A Nightmare on Elm Street chapter retails for $6.99 on Steam and comes with three new items. Although the daily news updates have from Friday the 13th developer Gun Media have stopped, the studio wants fans to know that it is actively working on improving the game. Since it first released in 2019, The Coalition has been updating Gears 5 with new seasons of content called “Operations.” Operation 3, released in March, added multiplayer characters Augustus Cole and Clayton Carmine, new maps, a capture-the-flag mode called Gridiron, and more. Operation 4 released yesterday, and among its additions are a complete revamp of the game’s store with new ways to earn content. A blog post put out by The Coalition highlights a number of radical changes to Gears 5’s systems in the name of creating a simpler, easier way to get content for players who “felt limited” by time and wanted to meaningfully invest in the game....
Coalition Studios chief Rod Ferguson has claimed that it was his idea to remove all smoking depictions from the upcoming Gears of War 5. Previous reports stated that the change came about as a result of not-for-profit anti-smoking organization Truth Initiative approaching Turner to request that the game be made smoke free. Turner’s ELeague esports division now has broadcast rights to Gears and the company was said to have collaborated with the developers to remove smoking from the game....
