Apple TV+ is yet another streaming service looking to catch the attention of home-bound audiences, and may have just served up its most compelling argument yet with the trailer for season 2 of For All Mankind. The new season of the show will continue its nostalgic look back on the great space race, except this time, with Moon guns. The trailer’s most intriguing shot by far includes four astronauts moon-walking their way towards some unknown threat, with assault rifles in tow, prepared to deliver whatever sort of justice one finds about 239,000 miles from Earth....

Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 7 is all about change. After previous seasonal updates worked to deepen the mystery surrounding its iconic island while slowly opening up the metaverse, Invasion aims to uproot much of this security. Everything is thrown into chaos as aliens wreak havoc upon your familiar abode with no intention of making peace. So you’re left with no option but to fight back, Rick Sanchez and Superman standing alongside you to hold back the extraterrestrial menace....

An extended cut of Forspoken’s official title trailer has been uploaded to YouTube, featuring new gameplay focused on combat and traversal. The trailer in question was uploaded to PlayStation’s official YouTube channel on March 30th and includes a lot of what was already seen. However, the extended cut shows us a little bit more of the gameplay that was briefly shown at the end of the original title trailer, and also features the game’s lead actor, Ella Balinska talking more about her role as main character Frey Holland....

Fortnite’s Chapter 2, Season 4, Week 14 is the final week of Season 4. Earlier today Friday the 13th developer Gun Media issues a new PC patch that was said to improve the game’s matchmaking and fix some of the more pressing issues. However, a new bug in said patch has forced the Gun to roll back the update for all players on PC. While the Friday the 13th patch had yet to hit consoles, PC players noted a loss of XP, perks, and unlocks after downloading the update....

The Far Cry franchise is climbing from exotic islands to snowy mountaintops for the upcoming sequel Far Cry 4, which is set in the fictional nation of Kyrat in the Himalayas. Ruled over by self-appointed King Pagan Min and held in the grip of a civil war, Kyrat looks like the perfect setting for Far Cry’s blend of FPS action and open world exploration, with plenty of secrets to be uncovered....

During a recent livestream of PewDiePie playing PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, the popular YouTuber exclaimed a racial slur. PewDiePie’s racist remark has sparked some outrage in the gaming community, with developer Campo Santo Games expressing intent to file DMCA takedowns against him for Firewatch and all of its future products. Developer Sean Vanaman of Campo Santo Games addressed the controversy on Twitter, offering stinging criticism of PewDiePie: In subsequent posts, Vanaman said that he would be reaching out to other, larger developers to encourage them to cut ties with PewDiePie as well....

Venerable interactive entertainment company and video game icon Atari recently announced a partnership with video game incubation platform Game Jolt. The deal will bring Game Jolt’s large catalog of indie games to the upcoming Atari VCS PC/console hybrid entertainment system this fall. Game Jolt is an indie game platform and community launched in 2002 that creates tools for indie video game developers and gamers to share and play their games together under one unified roof....

As one of the most anticipated games of 2016, Gears of War 4 looks to be making good on the promises that The Coalition has made thus far. Set 25 years after the events of Gears of War 3, the latest numbered iteration of the core franchise is as much about moving forward as it is about honoring the past....

Genshin Impact players will need to make wishes in order to unlock new characters, but the game isn’t entirely clear on how to go about getting more wishes. Players will make their first wish when they first reach the library, but beyond that they will need to buy more of them with in game currency. Thankfully, the in game currency required doesn’t have to be purchased with real money, so players can unlock Genshin Impact characters through wishes without paying a dime....

Players will face the Crab Warden at the end of Chapter 5 of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. The encounter happens during the Secret Passageway in the Corkscrew Tunnel. It’s essentially a tough mecha that is somewhat similar to Scorpion Sentinel, though a bit less advanced. It lacks the mobility and the tail laser of the Scorpion Sentinel, but the Warden has a rugged metal shell to compensate. The battle serves the purpose of illustrating that Shinra has manufactured many sentry weapons....

This summer, fans can dive into Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, all of its PS5 glory, and everyone’s favorite ninja, Yuffie Kisaragi. Unfortunately, this does make any sort of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 proper releasing this year seem much less likely, but it does give fans some big answers. For example, in the original game, Yuffie was entirely optional and only obtainable after a certain part. This DLC will be bringing her into the main story, specifically meaning the events are designated to take place during the main game....

A recent Famitsu interview with some of the developers of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin has shed some light on the party size. Creative producer Tetsuya Nomura confirmed “There are others” you can add to the party, and director Daisuke Inoue added, “However, the battle is limited to a party of three people.” Pretty standard fare for a Final Fantasy game. Origin is a hack and slash, action RPG set in the world of the first Final Fantasy game, hence the Origin subtitle....

Fortnite update 13.20 is live now, and it adds a variety of new Punch Cards, achievements, and styles to Epic Games’ battle royale sensation. The update also introduces a new weapon called the Flare Gun, which has been teased several times since the beginning of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3, and players can find details on what this weapon does and where to locate it below. To start, Flare Guns in Fortnite can be obtained from chests, supply drops, and llamas, though it is important to note that this weapon is somewhat rare....

Fortnite update 5.10 is all about explosions. The infamous guided missile makes a return to Battle Royale mode, and a new limited-time game mode is now live for fans to check out: Fly Explosives. This new game mode is all about flying high above the battlefield and raining down explosive mayhem on any who get in the way. Fortnite’s new game mode restricts loadouts to only explosive weapons, and gives players jetpacks to let them quickly soar across the map with their destructive arsenal....

The Fortnite Item Shop has been refreshed once again and with it comes an emote for the “Toosie Slide,” the dance from the titular Drake song. Drake released the song in early April, alongside a music video where he dons a Coronavirus mask and performs the dance in his marble-on-marble Toronto mansion. Since then, “Toosie Slide” has exploded into a viral phenomenon, especially on TikTok. The song also marks Drake’s third time debuting at number-one on the Billboard Hot 100, making him the first male recording artist to do so....

Fortnite’s latest Season 10 teases appear to be hinting at time travel as it asks players to look forward and back. We are slap bang in the middle of an incredibly busy few days for Fortnite. Over the weekend, the massively popular battle royale game held its first-ever World Cup in New York City. The event was a huge success, and on Sunday night, Bugha was crowned Fortnite’s first solo World Cup winner, taking home a cool $3 million in the process....
