From Star Wars in Destiny to Powerpuff Girls in Grand Theft Auto 5, the trend of replay creations is a well of entertainment that seems to never run dry. It’s likely no surprise that that latest round of replay creations have been coming from the Fortnite community and the latest highlight pays tributes Aang and iconic squad. Created by Driveflix Games, the replay is appropriately titled ‘The Avatar intro but in Fortnite’ and is a guaranteed trip down memory lane for gamers who were tuned in to the epic nickelodeon cartoon back around 2005....

Despite Fortnite being one of the most popular games of this generation, Epic Games’ impressive battle royale has not come without its shortcomings. Although the game’s microtransactions are strictly cosmetic and provide no gameplay advantage whatsoever, the question of the ethicality of even cosmetic-only microtransactions is still raised. The presence of V-Bucks certainly did not help when Epic Games received an ‘F’ rating from the Better Business Bureau. Now, it has reportedly been discovered that V-Bucks are even being used by criminals to launder money....

It’s an exciting day for Fortnite players as Epic Games has finally completely fulfilled its promise to reward players due to the unfortunate server outages last week. Starting today, Battle Royale players are being gifted 20 Battle Pass Stars, and double XP through Sunday, April 22. On the other side, Save the World players are getting an additional 1600 seasonal gold and a free Storm Llama for logging into the mode....

For the first time in the franchise’s history, a Forza game will be coming to Steam, with Forza Horizon 4 slated to arrive on Valve’s PC storefront on March 9. The racing game will join a slew of other Xbox titles that have made the jump to the popular storefront in recent years, including Sea of Thieves, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and Gears 5. The version hitting Steam will debut alongside both of the DLCs currently available for the title - those being the Fortune Island and LEGO Speed Champions add-ons....

Mad Max: Fury Road director George Miller recently described the film’s upcoming prequel, Furiosa, as “a saga with events stretched over many years.” According to Miller, he made a conscious effort make the film familiar to Fury Road fans while also being unique enough to attract a whole new audience. The reviews have started to pile in for Fuser, a music and rhythm game developed by Harmonix Music Systems. The same team behind some of the biggest music video games, including both Guitar Hero and Rock Band, has returned to create this music mixing title. The results are mostly positive, as Fuser seems to have a solid concept, a deep creation system, and great music. MiHoYo’s Action/RPG title, Genshin Impact, has taken the world by storm. This new free-to-play gacha RPG title released on PS4, PC, and mobile devices in September 2020. Since then, it’s accumulated over $245 million. Genshin Impact is known for its charming character design and its heavy visual influences from Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It’s fair to say that Genshin Impact has brought a lot for players to do in its 1.4 update. The Windblume festival is lively, has a ton to do for co-op players, and most importantly, is stuffed full of prizes. Thanks to Sucker Punch Studios’ Ghost of Tsushima, fans can take on the role of a samurai showcasing his swordsmanship against a multitude of foes in melee combat. Ghost of Tsushima developer Sucker Punch Productions reveals one of the game’s grossest, but most historical gameplay features. Fans will have seen the feature in every single Ghost of Tsushima gameplay video but Sucker Punch Productions hadn’t spoken much about it. Speaking to VG247, Ghost of Tsushima creative director Jason Connell revealed how a feature called “chiburi” works. Chiburi, a Japanese term which literally means “shaking off the blood,” is when a samurai flicks their sword to remove blood after a kill....

Ghost of Tsushima is a beautiful game, that’s hardly news. One might elaborate on the elegant way the lighting, graphic design, and music create a wonderful harmony. Or one might pontificate on the gameplay, the smoothness, and the utilization of the entire controller. The game appeals to the senses of any sophisticated gamer. But there is a class in the new Legends mode that returns gamers to the carnal reason they love gaming; doing big, fat damage numbers....
