When one thinks of collecting a wide variety of monsters and creatures, then pitting them against opponents in battle, one franchise comes to mind. That’s all about to change though, as Final Fantasy XIII-2 is set to bring the obsessive need to ‘catch them all’ to gamers everywhere, as just one other new change being made to the previous game’s formula. The latest trailer ‘Master of Monsters’ gives a bit more detail into how these creatures will function in combat, and how players will be able to upgrade their skills....

The Ashen Wolves are the fourth unofficial house in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. They are a house made up of refugees and rejects, and they live underground in Abyss where it is safe for them. The house took on the mission of protecting the people of Abyss at any cost. When Byleth and the gang discover them, they are a group veiled in mystery. Naturally, they are hesitant towards the folk who live aboveground but eventually come around to them....

One of the biggest anime series of the past few years, Demon Slayer, is coming to gaming. A new game is currently in development at CyberConnect2, the studio behind Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm series. There is no release date yet for the Demon Slayer game, but footage of its Versus mode has leaked online and it shows gameplay similar to that of the Ultimate Ninja Storm series....

A few days ago, we came across Skyheim, the mod that added Skyrim-style magic to Valheim. Skyheim’s spells are all fairly standard, such as Light, Frost Bolt, Firebolt, and the like. But now there’s a new mod adding the dark arts to Valheim’s Viking world. The new Necromancy mod allows players to construct a yew wand that will give them power over death itself. Once the Convoking Wand has been constructed (not a simple task, given its requirements), the player will be able to summon up to eight skeleton thralls....

While Fortnite is available as a free download, Epic Games has also released retail bundles for it over the years that include some exclusive cosmetics and other items. The latest Fortnite retail bundle comes as part of a collaboration between Epic Games and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and it will be available to purchase beginning November 17. The new Fortnite bundle is Joker-themed, and it’s called Fortnite: The Last Laugh Bundle....

While Fortnite players are patiently awaiting the game’s arrival on Android devices, Epic Games is moving ahead with several plans for that eventual release. For example, those planning on picking up the Android version of the battle royale game may want to know that only 12% of devices will run it well, but also that pre-ordering the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will reward those dedicated players with 15,000 V-bucks, or approximately $150 in in-game currency....

Fortnite is a ship so large that leaks are inevitable. After all, season 6 had barely started before the first set of cosmetic leaks began, so it should be no surprise that the next set of weekly challenges have already leaked. Although this had happened throughout season 5, the sheer size of this weekly challenge leak is surprising itself. Over the past few years, and especially during last year, GameStop’s stock has gradually gone down more than 32 percent, which brought its market capitalization from about $9.4 billion in 2007 to $1.42 billion in 2018. On Monday though, GameStop shares went up almost 13 percent to $15.78, which indicates a possible buyout of the company, as a buyout will allow investors to cash out their holdings. GameStop has also recently hired a financial adviser, who may possibly be assisting in buyout negotiations, after its former CEO, Michael Mauler resigned for “personal reasons” in May....
