To continue competing with an increasing amount of competition like Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode, Epic Games continues to evolve the Fortnite Battle Royale experience on a weekly basis. Players have seen plenty of new gear, skins, and game modes come and go over the past year, and with Season 6 slowly nearing an end, it appears even more interesting content is around the corner. While this week’s update adds plenty of new content for players to check out, it also includes an interesting new revolver which may look very familiar to longtime Destiny fans....

Without a doubt, myriad Fortnite fans are doing their best to determine what exactly Epic Games has planned in the long run with its recent addition of a mysterious purple cube, and while fans try to parse the enigma, the studio will continue to update the title. After seasons’ worth of speculation, it finally happened: Fortnite’s Tilted Towers is no more. But that wasn’t the only location on Fortnite’s map that was destroyed during this weekend’s Volcano event, which also brought a player voted weapon back from the vault. At 2pm Central, Fortnite players gathered for the latest event, which included the eruption of the volcano added to the map in Season 8. In a new article, members of the team at From Software, who developed the PlayStation 4 exclusive hit Bloodborne, have said they are hard at work on more games for 2017; however, that may not include a sequel to Bloodborne. As Cyberpunk 2077’s release date inches ever-closer, players are preparing their dedicated systems for the game’s launch later this year. At the beginning of the month, the Global Community Lead at CD Projekt Red, Marcin Momot, assured fans that Cyberpunk won’t have a massive file size. Now, Cyberpunk 2077’s system requirements for PC have officially been revealed, meaning PC players finally have a concrete idea of what their systems need to look like when the game launches....

While official gameplay footage for Destiny 2 won’t debut until next month, it appears that isn’t stopping fans from rushing to get their pre-orders in for the sequel to Bungie’s sci-fi shooter. Earlier this month, GameStop announced plans to finally cash in on the Reddit stock fiasco from a few months prior. Back then, GameStop’s stock saw heights of nearly $500 per share thanks to a short-squeeze bubble, but since then GameStop’s stock price has retreated to be merely ten times what it started the year at rather than 50 times. While developer Gearbox Software seemingly has a full plate what with the Vita version of Borderlands 2 and Telltale Games’ Tales from the Borderlands in the pipeline, both of those titles aren’t actually Gearbox creations. The Vita port is being handled by a completely different studio, albeit under Gearbox’s watch, and Tales from the Borderlands, as was mentioned, is a Telltale creation. So, assuming Gearbox is done with Borderlands 2 DLC expansions, that leaves fans to wonder what the developer actually has planned for the future....

Gen.G has placed its entire professional CS:GO roster on the transfer list, members of the team announced yesterday. The three competitors and coach are now available to explore other playing opportunities for the upcoming 2021 season. In a report from Rush B Media, a Gen.G representative confirms the move does not reflect the organization choosing “VALORANT over CS.” Gen.G first stepped into Counter-Strike in 2019 with the acquisition of Cloud9’s former core....

Godzilla vs. Kong director Adam Wingard is helming a theatrical adaption of ThunderCats. The news comes fresh off the back of the latest MonsterVerse showdown, which is set to release in the United States this week.
