If you love Warframe, there’s no shortage of excellent titles you should try out. It’s not as if you’ll run out of things to do in Warframe itself anytime soon, as you can spend hundreds of hours grinding for the perfect character, and the devs at Digital Extremes have been thoroughly committed to adding content and substantial updates. But it’s always nice to have options. Waframe really raised the bar for free-to-play titles with the wealth of content put at the player’s disposal, and the thrilling, action-packed multiplayer action certainly doesn’t hurt matters....

I’m still not quite a cloud gaming convert. I have dabbled in game streaming services a bunch of times now, having tested both Google Stadia and Xbox Game Pass since the services first became available, and while I’ve been impressed, I’ve never been convinced. Streaming games to my PC is a nice feature, and works smoothly, but it feels redundant if you have a PC capable of gaming already. But game streaming becomes much more interesting when it comes to streaming to mobile devices that would never otherwise be capable of running triple-A titles with high fidelity....

Amidst the recent news of Jared Leto’s revival of his DC role – previously dubbed as the worst Joker – members of the gaming community have been debating over their favorite Joker within video games. Over the past week, Gearbox Software has built an incredible amount of hype for its PAX East 2019 panel that will take place on March 28. Gearbox has already teased four games for the show through its Twitter, including the often-requested Borderlands 3, and now it appears it’s teasing even more for PAX East 2019. The official Gearbox twitter account has posted an image of what appears to be the Duke Nukem DLC for Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition....

Genshin Impact recently expanded upon its content with the release of Version 1.1, which introduced entirely new story quests, playable characters, and enemies. Although this update even included new in-game events, it didn’t extend the game’s playable territories any further. That being said, Travelers are already well aware of miHoYo’s plans to eventually enlarge the Teyvat map. Genshin Impact players have been able to approach an inaccessible area, Dragonspine, since the game’s release, for example, not to mention entirely unseen regions like Inazuma, which newer characters like Leonard hail from....

Correction: Martin’s comments were actually about being behind on his communication with fans, not Winds of Winter. Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin is not shy about speaking his mind, and even less hesitant when announcing how far he has fallen behind in penning ‘The Winds of Winter’. Martin has recently written openly on his blog regarding the pressures of making deadlines, and it sounds like fans of the medieval fantasy saga will have to wait a little longer for that next book....

Ghost of Tsushima offers players four different stances which they can switch between, each excelling at handling a different type of enemy. These are the Stone, Water, Wind, and Moon stances, but there is a secret fifth stance which players unlock during the second act of the game called the Ghost Stance that is incredibly powerful. Note that this post will have some Ghost of Tsushima spoilers. Jin Sakai goes through a lot of change during his efforts to repel the Mongol invasion, falling from an honorable Samurai and becoming the titular Ghost of Tsushima....

Ghost of Tsushima demanded attention at E3 2018 with an enchanting gameplay trailer boasting truly next-gen in-engine graphics, but this curious open-world samurai adventure is shaping up to be a whole lot more than a pretty picture. Ubisoft reveals a new gameplay trailer for Ghost Recon: Wildlands that shows how quickly a mission can be completed when players work together to complete the mission. One of the most unique aspects to Ubisoft’s upcoming third-person shooter, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, is players’ ability to choose how they complete a mission. To date, Ubisoft has shown off a few gameplay videos that detail the various methods players have for infiltrating an enemy base and eliminating or capturing a target....

More than anything, what God of War is missing is a punishment for death to enhance the difficulty, especially in challenging modes like Give Me God of War....

Google Maps users who have a Wear OS smartwatch can now enjoy the app’s navigation features without lugging their phone around with them. Being able to use Google Maps navigation on your wrist can come in handy in all kinds of ways, but until recently you also had to have your phone with you for it to work. That’s all changed, with Google confirming as much via a Wear OS support community....

In addition to improved graphics, a new first-person mode, and support for up to 8K resolutions, it seems that the definitive version of Final Fantasy 15 is actually far easier to develop than its console counterpart. According to Hajime Tabata, Director of the upcoming game, creating a Final Fantasy experience on PC is “more than 100 times” easier than initial development was when the game had to be made from scratch....

After Square Enix releases a PlayStation 4 Pro patch to upscale the visuals for its role-playing game, Final Fantasy 15, the update receives criticism for some problems. Just yesterday, Square Enix officially provided players of Final Fantasy 15 with a patch that was originally intended to improve the game’s frame rate on PlayStation 4 Pro and bring it up to a maximum cap of 60 FPS in order to give fans experiencing the RPG on Sony’s enhanced platform some additional graphical clarity....

Final Fantasy VIII is one of the most divisive titles in the entire franchise. While the visual upgrade was spectacular in every sense of the word, gamers were less than enthused when it came to the several other gameplay mechanics present in the game. From the Junction system to the largely ineffective leveling system, there were several problems that people pointed out when it came to this particular title. The Star Wars fandom is in for another intergalactic VR experience with the franchise’s new game, Tales From the Galaxy’s Edge. Made in collaboration with Oculus Studios, this new Star Wars VR title will be helmed by Vader Immortal alumni ILMxLAB and is headed to the Quest by year’s end. Back to a galaxy far, far away we go, though this time like never before. As the title would suggest, this new narrative takes place in conjunction with Disneyland’s own virtual reality experience, Galaxy’s Edge, and is set primarily after the events of The Last Jedi....

Ubisoft has announced that For Honor will receive enhancements on PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X/S. The hack-and-slash title enhancements are not a next-gen version of the game, but will have graphic upgrades and framerate boosts when playing with backward compatibility. At launch, the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 will be able to play For Honor at 4K resolution. However, the lesser-priced Xbox Series S will be capable of playing For Honor at 1080p resolution....
