Fortnite update 5.21 introduces several new features to the game. The Fortnite Summer Skirmish tournament is well underway where Epic Games is handing out $8,000,000 in prize money over 8 weeks, though the competition began with some serious lag issues. Epic Games is enhancing Fortnite’s graphics on PC with the impending Chapter 2 Season 7 update. When using the reworked “Epic” setting, you’ll notice improved postprocessing, shadow quality, and a variety of other enhanced effects. Chapter 2 Season 7 is expected to begin on June 8, and it’s bringing more than just a fresh Battle Pass to work through. Last month, we found out that Microsoft was planning to remove the subscription fees for Xbox Live Gold on free-to-play games. It made sense since most of the draw for free-to-play games was the fact that they were free, and besides, Microsoft still made a cut on whatever in-game purchases players made. That news came at the end of March from Xbox Preview Program developer Brad Rossetti. For the past few weeks, Alpha Skip Ahead and Xbox Preview members have been able to test out the new and improved (that is to say, free) functionality of Xbox Live without the Gold, and now Microsoft is happy to report that the free-to-play floodgates are ready to open....

The successful HBO series, based on George R.R.
