In a post on the official Ubisoft forums, community developer Eric Pope reveals the fixes and improvements are waiting for players in the For Honor day one patch. After seemingly coming out of no where during E3 2015, For Honor has finally arrived, letting players join up with three different factions that include knights, samurai, or vikings, to duke it out and find out who’s the best. With the game now available, Ubisoft has provided information on some of the changes being made to For Honor once players fire up their copy for the first time....

In the conversation surrounding the differences between the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X, Sony has a surprising critic. Chris Grannell was a Senior Game Designer at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe for well over a decade. He worked heavily on the Formula One franchise, as well as Wipeout HD: Fury and Killzone 2. And Grannell believes that Sony has “rested on their laurels” when it comes to the PS5’s hardware performance....

One of Fortnite’s newest weapons is the Flare Gun, and players who have seen it and shrugged it off might want to think again. Knowledge of the new crafting recipes will allow players to quickly get their hands on powerful new Primal weapons or high-precision classic Mechanical weapons. The only thing in the way is a little bit of gathering. In this new season of Fortnite, Animal Bones and Mechanical Parts are the sought-after materials for creating the best weapons....

Epic Games and Psyonix are partnering up to give players exclusive in-game rewards in both Fortnite and Rocket League. To celebrate Rocket League’s transition to free-to-play, Rocket League players with an Epic Games account will receive free vehicle cosmetics. Rocket League released in 2015 on PlayStation and Windows initially. It has maintained its popularity, ranking in the top ten most-played games ever, and amassing over 500,000 concurrent players across all platforms in March....

Fortnite’s mega popular battle royale mode is free-to-play, but the game still manages to earn millions of dollars thanks to its unique cosmetic items. Some of the most popular Fortnite cosmetics have consisted of unique character skins that help players stand out from the 99 other combatants, and Reddit user RexSadio has created one that would definitely turn some heads. RexSadio has created a concept for a Fortnite werewolf skin that would evolve as players earn kills....

Following the release of patch 8.01, two instant death spots have recently been found on Fortnite’s map. Epic Games is looking into the issue, and in the meantime has provided a warning that states, “Beware the Fork Knife!” Insta-death location number one is located next to one of Fortnite’s latest map changes. Just a week ago, Epic Games added a landmark in an open field between Fatal Fields and Salty Springs where two holes were dug into the ground in the shapes of a fork and a knife....

Along with tons of new mythic weapons for Season 3, Fortnite has also introduced some new items. This includes the Firefly Jar which was added with the hotfix on June 23rd. Since this item is currently in an “evaluation period,” the Jar might not be around forever, so players should learn to use it now. The Firefly Jar Along with the map changes in Season 3 of Fortnite, the Firefly Jar is a brand new addition for this season....

While a number of Gold XP Coins were added to Fortnite over the past several weeks, it was not until Season 3 Week 8 began that players were actually able to collect them. In a move that’s definitely going to turn some heads, GameStop announced a “multi-year strategic partnership” with Microsoft. Yet before speculation goes too wild, the deal mostly seems to be on the business end of things. GameStop is poised to incorporate much of Microsoft’s office infrastructure to its retail operations, but little mention was made of offering any exclusive product. GameStop put out an official press release for the announcement, saying that the partnership will be “further advancing its strategy to expand its physical and digital video game offerings, as well as enhance the Company’s retail technology infrastructure....
