Developer Sucker Punch Productions confirms that Ghost of Tsushima will have several difficulty options when it releases in July. A PlayStation Store ESRB rating for Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade has revealed that blood will be appearing in the game, which is notable because it didn’t appear in the 2020 release. The PlayStation Store listing shows that Intergrade will have the same overall rating as the original game, but with the addition of blood. Although Intergrade is an updated version of the 2020 release, it wouldn’t make sense for them to add blood to old scenes so it stands to reason that the blood will be appearing in the Yuffie chapter that is exclusive to Intergrade....

Final Fantasy VII Remake takes a somewhat different approach to combat than the original game. Rather than using turn-based mechanics, it instead employs an active time battle system that’s fairly reminiscent of the one found in Final Fantasy XV. There’s an awful lot to take in, although to the game’s credit, it does do a fairly decent job of easing players into it. As a result, it shouldn’t take you too long to pick up the basics, although there’s a surprising amount of depth when it comes to some of the more advanced combat elements....

While the original game had 24 unique enemy skills for players to learn, Final Fantasy VII Remake has only four. It’s likely that more will follow in future parts, but for now, tracking them all down is considerably easier. Not only that, but unlike the original game they’re all attacks that enemies will use naturally and so there’s no need for players to use manipulation either. Before you can start learning them though you’ll first have to get your hands on the Enemy Skill materia....

Final Fantasy XIV producer and director Naoki Yoshida has confirmed that the delayed Patch 5.3, Reflections In Crystal, will be released on August 11th. Fans were dismayed when Yoshida announced in April that Patch 5.3, originally scheduled for June 16th, would be delayed due to COVID-19 concerns.
