In the weeks leading up to Genshin Impact’s next big update, Mihoyo is planning for more events. The next event coming to Teyvat will double drops for talent level-up materials, and things kick off next week on May 31. Just on the heels of a series of big announcements with details around version 1.6, Mihoyo is planning to drop more goodies on Genshin Impact players. Overflowing Mastery will double what you get for Resin spent in-game on certain domains....

While many members of the gaming community are on the edge of their seats in anticipation for the release of the PS5 and Xbox Series X this coming week, Genshin Impact players have something just as exciting to look forward to. On November 11, miHoYo plans to release the 1.1 update for the open world RPG that will include many new features and, perhaps more importantly, four new characters. Now it seems that the developer is ready to start generating more excitement as it releases a character trailer for one of the game’s new four star characters, Diona....

It’s always interesting to see how fans of something use their talents to show their support for it. A fan of Ghost of Tsushima going by the user handle BlueEyed_Beth took a PS4 controller and gave it a custom paint job meant to represent the property. They then posted it on social media for the rest of the internet to potentially see. The design BlueEyed_Beth used for the controller features the red maple leaves that are present at the grave of Jin Sakai’s father....

According to the latest V-Jump leaks for January’s issue, Toppo, the famed Pride Trooper in Universe 11, is coming to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 as the next DLC character. Revealed on Twitter by notorious Dragon Ball news reporter DbsHype, Toppo will be taking his newly formed God of Destruction techniques with him as part of update 12 for the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Launching in the game this spring, Toppo (or Top, as he’s known in the English dub of Dragon Ball Super) is already part of Xenoverse 2 in a small way, with players currently being able to equip the Dragon Ball Super villain’s outfit and famed mustache to their created fighter....

Surprisingly, the wait for the next God of War entry may not be as long as fans expect. Some may have assumed that the God of War: Ragnarok sequel wouldn’t come out until well after the PS5’s launch, but Sony Santa Monica seems keen on releasing the game in 2021. It’s certainly a welcome surprise, especially for those who’ve been waiting since 2018 for the continuation of Kratos and Atreus’ story....

The brilliant God of War has finally arrived on PC as part of the PlayStation team’s recent (and surprising) push to expand some of their services to that platform, which also means that PC gamers ready to experience one of the best games of the last 20 years are suddenly wondering which of God of War‘s difficulty settings they should choose. While it may not seem that hard to choose a difficulty setting (and the choice obviously comes down to personal preference), the odd names for God of War‘s various difficulty modes combined with the fact that the game doesn’t exactly do the best job of telling you about the differences between them mean that many people boot up the game with more than a few questions about which one is the right one for them....

The God of War series has left fans wanting answers to several burning questions for years by this point. Fortunately, many queries will be given answers when the sequel arrives in due time. Unfortunately, it’s more than likely that some questions might be left unanswered. Although that might just be inevitable since there are supposed to be more games to follow even after this sequel, there are certain questions that will have to be answered in this game itself....

One of the very first games announced for the PlayStation 5 was the looter-slashed Godfall, set to launch in exactly one week’s time for Sony’s new system as well as on PC through the Epic Games Store. Those on PC who want to play Godfall on Steam or somewhere other than the Epic Games Store will have to wait at least a year to do so, but those who want to play it on a console other than the PS5 may not have to wait quite as long, if the launch trailer is to be believed....

The Midgar section of Final Fantasy VII was relatively linear. As Final Fantasy VII Remake expands the Midgar section to the length of a full game, the developers decided to add sidequests in order to fill out the runtime. Players will run into a wannabe Shinra researcher named Chadley in Chapter 3 who will periodically appear during the less busy segments of the story. Chadley will give Cloud quests to do, which involve completing Battle Reports....

Final Fantasy VII Remake’s first three weeks of sales have officially outpaced Final Fantasy XV’s—an impressive feat amidst a pandemic. According to a Famitsu article, in the first three weeks since its launch, the remake has sold 839,074 units in Japan, roughly 25 thousand more than Final Fantasy XV’s 814,603 units. While the remake’s success is not surprising considering the original game’s cult classic status, one would imagine that being a PlayStation 4 exclusive launching during the era of quarantine restrictions would hamper sales....

It’s been quite some time since we last talked about Marvel Universe, the upcoming MMO from Secret Identity Studios and Gazillion Entertainment. Originally in developement years ago by Cryptic in a partnership with Microsoft, that game was canned and now it’s under Gazillion as part of their decade-long partnership with Marvel. Back in April of this year, Marvel announced that this new Marvel MMO was on the way and since then, The Marvel Massively Multiplayer Society has been slowly revealing details, most importantly that the game allows players to play as their favorite characters from Marvel’s vast library and that it’s free-to-play....

A team of artists, programmers, and designers behind the award-winning games Skullgirls and Indivisible have decided to join forces to form Future Club, a cooperatively structured independent game studio that aims to create games with “handcrafted art and traditional 2D animation, engaging and responsive gameplay, and unique and memorable worlds.” In August, Lab Zero Games, which oversaw the development of Skullgirls and Indivisible, fired its entire staff after allegations were made that owner Mike Zaimont had engaged in sexual misconduct and created an “unsafe work environment....

As many Fortnite fans will likely attest, the Thermal Assault Rifle is far from everyone’s first pick when it comes to finding weapons and loot in the game’s free-to-play Battle Royale mode, especially with Legendary Pump Shotguns having been added not too long ago. However, one player recently discovered a trick that could cause fans to give the Thermal AR another chance, as there’s currently an exploit that gives the gun perfect accuracy....

Although patch 1.10 for Fortnite just recently released Xbox-exclusive heroes, patch 1.11 appears to be the real gift. Epic Games’ latest patch includes the beginning of season 2 for Battle Royale, the new Battle Pass, a holiday event, global inventory, holiday heroes, weapons, an event currency store, and various updates to the game. Revealed in the patch notes, season 2 begins today and will end on Feb 20th. Fortnite’s battle pass is available now and will unlock 65 rewards by the end of the season....

Fortnite has gone all-in on its Marvel content during the massive season 4 crossover, with even more seemingly set to be coming to the game soon. Based on a new set of leaks, one of Spider-Man’s most popular villains, Venom, may be the next Marvel character joining the Fortnite roster. With Spider-Man content in Fortnite rumored last month, one of his greatest adversaries joining the roster is not too surprising. While dataminers have yet to find out what exactly Venom will look like within Fortnite, everything else about the terrifying Symbiote’s appearance in the game has been discovered....

The 10th season of Fortnite Battle Royale has finally arrived and as expected, the latest season brings a whole host of changes and new content for players to dig into. Known as Season X, the battle royale mode has adopted an out of time theme which means that much of the content is a new twist on something old. That’s very evident in the Battle Pass skins like Eternal Voyager, X Lord, and others....

A trio of players was booted from a big-money Fortnite tournament over the weekend after one member tweeted Donald Mustard telling him to kill himself. A Fortnite trio has been disqualified from a tournament in which $3 million was up for grabs for an ill-thought-out tweet by one of its members. The tweet, as well as the account it was sent from, has since been deleted. It read “Like literally fucking k!...

Recently, the hugely popular shooter game, Fortnite, has been experiencing problems regarding weapon accuracy shortly after the start of the game’s third season. Epic Games has responded to fans’ frustration about the problem after it was addressed on the forums and have indicated that the problem will be addressed in the next patch. A Fortnite fan posted a GIF that shows the problem on the Fortnite Reddit page. In the GIF it shows how a reticule bloom is happening on the weapon even though the player is standing still, resulting in a missed shot even though the player aimed accurately....

Friday the 13th developer Gun Media is at it again with the blue dot teases, this time with a different formation than the one released late last week. Whereas the first tease featured a series of 8 dots (4 on top and 4 on the bottom) with the 8th dot colored blue, this week’s puts the blue dot in the second slot. As with the tease last week, the Friday the 13th developers have included no additional information....
