Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, the new multiplayer mode for Sucker Punch’s widely acclaimed samurai epic, has largely been a success for the coveted PlayStation-owned studio. Taking players to a mythical realm of demons, monsters, and Japanese spirits, Legends allows Ghost of Tsushima players to select one of four classes and team up, combining the base game’s exceptional combat with cooperative gameplay. Those who’ve gotten stuck into the title over the last few weeks have been waiting for one thing, however, with Sucker Punch promising that Legends would incorporate Raids in the new future....

The console war between Sony and Microsoft has been going on for nearly two decades. As such, PlayStation has tried to get an edge over Xbox through its exclusives, some of which have proven very successful. God of War, which began on the Playstation 2 in 2005, follows Kratos, a former Spartan warrior who is betrayed by Ares. After killing Ares, Kratos becomes the new God of War. When his father Zeus becomes fearful of his strength and betrays him too, Kratos heads out on a quest to destroy all of Olympus....

Unless you’re trying to remain entirely unspoiled about God of War: Ragnarok before you play it on November 9th, I highly recommend you check out the game’s latest story trailer. Like most of the game’s promotion material thus far, it’s an enticing preview of what is to come as well as an incredibly well-done piece of work in its own right. If you did watch that trailer, then I’m willing to bet there is a good chance you were shaken by the impact of the voice that pops in around the 40-second mark....

After answering questions on Twitter, God of War director, Corey Balrog, reveals that motion capture shooting hasn’t wrapped up quite yet, though it’s nearly done. After surprising the crowd with a lengthy gameplay demo at E3 2016, it’s safe to say that many fans expected to see something else for the upcoming God of War this past weekend at the PlayStation Experience. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case as the newly Norse mythology inspired title has seemingly gone dark once more, leaving fans to continue to speculate....

God of War’s Ragnarok-set sequel, at least as far as fans can tell from its sole trailer, is poised to be a huge release in 2021 for PlayStation 5. The 2018 entry in the series proved to be a critical and commercial hit while reinvigorating the franchise for a new generation, with Kratos moving on to ancient Norway to deal with a whole new pantheon of gods. A notable change from the original series is the boss fights, with the 2018 games bosses being smaller scale for the most part when compared to the original Greek adventure....

Triple Triad is a playing card mini-game that debuted in Final Fantasy 8 that sees two opponents face off on a 3x3 grid with five cards each. Final Fantasy 7 Remake is undoubtedly one of 2020’s biggest games, but unlike other remakes, the game is still unfinished with more parts planned sometime in the future. Speaking at a Game Developers Conference (GDC) panel last week, Epic Games’ Head of Publishing – Ed Zobrist – revealed several surprising details regarding Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode and the studios decision to ultimately forgo the $40 paywall.
