Without a doubt, God of War was one of the best games showcased during E3 2017, and now the developer Santa Monica Studio is doing its best to share as many details about the forthcoming action-adventure game before its release next year without spoiling all of the fun. As it so happens, during a recent interview with Polygon, Santa Monica Studio’s creative director, Cory Barlog, confirmed that the PlayStation 4 exclusive will not be an open world experience, and explained why without revealing too much about the gameplay....

Despite recent rumors to the contrary, it appears that WB Montreal’s Gotham Knights - unlike a variety of other contemporary titles - will not adhere to a games-as-a-service model. Fantasy Flight Games dropped a bombshell for Civ fans recently, as they announced that the tabletop version of Sid Meiers’ Civilization strategy video game, Civilization A New Dawn, is set to get a new Expansion, Terra Incognita. Sid Meier is a video game veteran and creator of the phenomenal Civilization series that started in 1991. Despite the game’s tumultuous history, with arguments who owned the rights, it has gone on to have 6 official releases at the hands of Meier, with several spinoffs such as Colonization in 1993 along the way....

FIFA 18 may be coming to the Nintendo Switch when it launches come September 29, but it won’t necessarily be the fully featured soccer game fans might be expecting. While the game’s major selling point, Ultimate Team, will be included, other important features, like the Journey story mode, won’t be. It’s no secret that Fortnite has broken a lot of records since it released a year ago, but this week, attendees of Paris Games Week used the game to break a more unusual record. During the 5-day convention, 383 gamers gathered together to dance to various Fortnite emotes as a group, setting the Guinness World Record for most participants in a video game emote routine. The 383 participants were all dressed as Cuddle Team Leader, a skin which released on Valentines Day....

Since the launch of Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode, the Tilted Towers spot on the map has been a hot button issue in the community. The tall buildings are a popular place to land and, in many people’s opinion, not a very fun place to play.
