Fortnite’s Season 6 challenges are now live in the game, giving players plenty of new objectives to complete if they hope to unlock as many new cosmetic items as possible. Most of the challenges are fairly straightforward, but there is one where players may need some extra help, and that is the challenge to dance under seven of the streetlight spotlights dotted around the battle royale map. As it turns out, there’s actually quite a few streetlight spotlights on the new Fortnite map, though players only have to visit seven....

NPCs play a big role in Fortnite Season 5, offering players bounties as well as opportunities to spend gold bars. While the season began with a significant number of these characters appearing on Fortnite’s map, even more have been added since then. In fact, fans that check their Character Collections right now will see that there are entries for two new NPCs (designated as 43 and 44), and some players may be wondering exactly where they can find them....

Tidwell, Esq., Managing Director & General Counsel of the King Estate) have collaborated to host a special Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.-themed event within Fornite‘s creative mode, and the internet has been quick to react with memes, confusion, and a rather interesting debate over the relationship between context, intentions, and implementation of an idea. “TIME Studios, the Emmy Award®-winning television, film and immersive division of TIME, in collaboration with Epic Games’ Fortnite, has launched March Through Time, a new year-long Fortnite Creative experience to celebrate the anniversary of The March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom,” reads a statement from TIME regarding the event....

Fortnite Season 4 is finally here with a host of changes and some answers about what effects the impending meteor was going to have in-game. Well, it has finally landed and it took Dusty Depot with it, leaving behind a new location - the Dusty Divot. Other major changes for the start of the new season include a Battle Pass, the structure of which remains the same, but offers 100 tiers of cosmetic rewards for players and an anti-gravity consumable known as Hop Rocks, left behind in the wake of the meteors impact....

Just several days ago, Gun Media and IllFonic put out a patch for Friday the 13th: The Game that made Camp Counselors weaker in order to increase the potency of the title’s relentless killer, Jason Voorhees. Now, the publisher and developer have announced the decision to indefinitely postpone any more regular updates for the asymmetrical multiplayer survival-horror title until work has been completed on the game’s dedicated servers. According to a recent post on Friday the 13th: The Game’s official forums from Gun Media’s Community Lead, Daniel “ShiftySamurai” Nixon, periodic patches are going to be postponed so that the title will be updated to the latest version of the Unreal Engine....

Genshin Impact’s Lost Riches event is live now, and it centers around unearthing Iron Coins and exchanging them for rewards. However, before fans can start tracking down these hidden riches, they must first initiate their participation in this new event. That is done by speaking with an NPC named Ulman, and indeed some Genshin Impact players may be uncertain about exactly where they can find him. To get right to it, Ulman can be found near the Stone Gate in Dihua Marsh, Liyue, and players that check their maps in Genshin Impact should see a Treasure Chest icon at his exact position....

While Genshin Impact players have enjoyed plenty of new content since the game’s expansive Version 1.1 update, one of the patch’s strong points has been its story-driven event, Unreconciled Stars. The event began on November 16, 2020, and takes Travelers on a quest to save locals from sleep-inducing meteorites. Travelers spent the first phase of the three-part Genshin Impact event completing simple, dialogue-heavy quests and tracking down individual Meteorite Shards across several meteor impact sites....

Despite working just fine everywhere else, Google Stadia just isn’t available for iOS. The reason behind this curious omission is in Apple’s rules, which require any in-app purchases to be made through the App Store. Since the games you buy in the Stadia app go through Google and not Apple, Stadia is in violation of the App Store guidelines. So no Stadia for iOS. There’s a whole legal thing where Epic is fighting it out with Apple over this very rule, but we’re likely going to be waiting years for it to all hash out in court....

On Monday, Stadia is adding 5 more free games for Stadia Pro subscribers. Get Packed, Little Nightmares, Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid, Panzer Dragoon Remake, and SUPERHOT join heavy hitters like Destiny 2 and Rise of the Tomb Raider to bring the total Stadia Pro collection up to 17 games. A week after that, The Elder Scrolls Online is coming to Stadia, free to Pro subscribers. If Stadia can continue to add value to the service through an ever-growing collection of free games, the streaming service just might have a chance at finding a mainstream audience....

It seems that the free version of Google Stadia will be taking on a new form over the summer, as Google has announced that Stadia Pro will be free for everyone to try for the next two months. Google Stadia initially launched in November 2019 - but the only way to try it was through purchasing an expensive Founders Edition, which came with three months of Stadia Pro and a Buddy Pass that could give Stadia Pro to someone else....
