Fortnite is coming to Android. Last March, Fortnite developers Epic Games announced that their wildly successful battle royale shooter would be coming to mobile. First stop was iOS, where Fortnite landed with a big splash. To everyone’s surprise, the game actually translated to handheld pretty well, although there are some definite disconnects between the PC, console, and mobile experience. But the experiment was a huge success, and now Epic has confirmed that Fortnite will arrive on Android OS phones sometime this summer....

Fortnite Season 8 is just around the corner, and for Valentine’s day, Epic is giving players a chance to get a free battle pass in an event called #ShareTheLove. Announced this morning on the official Fortnite Twitter account, a short valentine’s themed trailer is accompanied by the news that a free battle pass will be given to all players who complete thirteen overtime challenges in game, before February 27. Beginning today, the overtime challenges, which are gradually revealed, ask players to complete different challenges within the game in order to unlock the rewards....

Both Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy were heavily influenced by Dungeons & Dragons and had to change certain aspects in order to avoid lawsuits. DOOM Eternal is working on an update that includes empowered demons, battlemode enhancements, and more. The update is known as Update 1 and is still in development. Update 1 will be available for all platforms. The Five Flushes of Fortune event is well underway, and while the event’s title may have you thinking it’s a poker reference (or maybe that was just me), it’s actually a photography event. Who could’ve guessed, right? Yes, Genshin Impact’s photography event has begun, but what you actually have to do to complete the event isn’t all that obvious, at least not at first. For the first day of this event the game tasks you with taking photographs of red items, but regardless of how many red items you point the camera at it may not work, and there’s no obvious way to get the shutter to trigger and actually take a photograph....

Ubisoft’s knights vs. samurai vs. vikings title For Honor was the best selling game for the month of February 2017. The title didn’t have too much competition, but Ubisoft should be proud that yet another new IP with a unique concept has landed the studio on the top of the charts. Offering a new twist on the fighting game genre, For Honor was a hard one to predict as far as whether players would be interested....

In August of last year, the indie roguelike Dead Cells launched to rave reviews, with many publications, including Game Rant, hailing it as one of the best games of 2018. Unfortunately for Dead Cells developer Motion Twin, the launch of the game was somewhat overshadowed by a controversy regarding one of its glowing reviews, as it was revealed that then-IGN editor Filip Miucin actually plagiarized his review of the game from YouTube channel Boomstick Gaming....

Bounties have arrived in Fortnite, and it is up to you to take out the competition with this new feature. Let’s show you how. When you initially unlock Mando from the Season Pass, the game will ask you to complete bounties for experience points. For example, if you finish 10, you will receive 22,000 XP. It will recommend four players in your party, but that isn’t necessary; you can certainly finish bounties playing solo....
