After appearing at the start of season six and slowly cracking, today’s update has resulted in Fortnite’s mysterious eggs hatching. Season six of Fortnite is in full swing at this point and has brought with it a Primal theme. One of the new elements brought with it is the ability to track down and tame wolves and wild boars. It was quickly discovered via data miners that there also appeared to be a plan for dinosaurs to be added to the mix....

It may be hard to believe after all of the extensive waiting, but Season 3 of Fortnite has finally arrived. The game’s Chapter 2 phase has seen its biggest shakeup yet, covering the battle royale map in water and swapping out Season 2’s mix of spies and Deadpool with a more summer-themed mix of floating islands, rideable sharks, and Aquaman. There’s a lot of new stuff for players to dive into, and like with any new season, much of that is tied to Season 3’s new Battle Pass....

It has taken over a month for theories and speculation to build, but today Fortnite players will finally find out what Season 4 will bring. But while the game is still in its downtime and players are waiting for the servers to come back up, the Season 4 intro cinematic has leaked. The cinematic (seen below) confirms that the meteors seen streaking across the sky in Fortnite (and eventually crashing down on the landscape) will change the map....

League of Legends has regained its position above Fortnite Battle Royale, as a report shows that it is Twitch’s most-watched game of 2019. The MOBA rode a surge of popularity in early 2019 and high event viewership month-to-month while at the same time Fortnite saw some of its lowest monthly numbers yet. The two swapped positions compared to the first half of 2018, when Fortnite led League of Legends by a similar viewership margin....

Yesterday, the Internet was set ablaze by rumors of a potentially industry-changing new program that GameStop is said to be unveiling this holiday season. For the unaware, a supposedly leaked poster made the rounds yesterday, claiming GameStop was set to introduce a rental program called Power Pass that would allow customers to pay $60 in exchange for unlimited access to the store’s library of used games for a six month period....

The newest five-star character, Zhongli, is in the spotlight of Genshin Impact right now thanks to his dedicated Banner, Gentry of Hermitage, which comes alongside his full character release. Players are amped up for the new polearm wielder with a Geo Vision ever since getting a taste of his combat during the A New Star Approaches quest, leaving the new Pyro four-star Xinyan in his shadow. Five-stars in Genshin Impact are all the hype, between the adorable ice child Qiqi or the dark and brooding Diluc, who is basically a replica of Batman....

A newly discovered bug in Genshin Impact is allowing players to have a five-character party, essentially making difficult battles easier while allowing players to construct powerful teams and combinations in return. This Genshin Impact gameplay bug was discovered recently, yet has already managed to generate a high amount of attention within the game’s community. Furthermore, a video tutorial was posted on Genshin Impact’s Reddit page by user FaydeCSGO, explaining how to do the exploit correctly in order to obtain a fifth party member in one’s game....

Like many RPGs, God of War uses a companion mechanic with an important character that sticks with the protagonist throughout the game. While the player controls Kratos, his son Atreus follows him on their journey to spread his mother’s ashes on the highest peak of the nine realms. Initially, it might seem like Atreus is just a chattery companion who offers no real in-game help, an element often seen in adventure RPGs, yet Atreus evolves into quite the force to be reckoned with....

With Sony’s PS5 reveal set to happen in the near future, it appears that developer Counterplay Games and publisher Gearbox have decided to post a teaser video for the upcoming Godfall game that introduces one of the playable classes. In a short video which is approximately 30 seconds in length, the Silvermane class was introduced. Although not a whole lot of information was shared due to the video’s length, one interesting thing to note is that emphasis was placed on the character’s Valorplate....

At its Stadia Connect presentation, Google has confirmed Google Stadia release window. The release date announcement was one of several reveals made by Google at its Connect event today, with games like The Division 2 and Destiny 2 being confirmed for the streaming service. On the Google Stadia website, Google has confirmed that the release window for the streaming service is November 2019. This is only the release window for the Google Stadia Founder’s Edition which has three months of Google Stadia Pro, a three month buddy pass and an exclusive Midnight Blue Google Stadia controller....

Even though Google Stadia quickly became a very easy punchline not long after it released (and it’s only got worse following Google’s decision to shut down its first-party studios), that doesn’t mean major game releases have skipped over it. Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn’s director says Square Enix is talking to Microsoft about bringing the game and its Heavensward expansion to Xbox One. Final Fantasy 14 producer Naoki Yoshida reveals during an interview with a Japanese publication that Square Enix will announce the next major expansion for the game this October. Most Final Fantasy fans have September 30 circled on their calendars as that is the release date for the long-awaited Final Fantasy XV on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
