Following the cautionary moves of most esports today, Flashpoint has decided to temporarily postpone the matches of its inaugural season in favor of online competition. Hayden Duvall, a former art director for BioWare has formed his own solo indie company and is releasing his first title Old Gods Rising, a Lovecraftian adventure game. Hayden spent a number of years at BioWare working on successful titles like the Dragon Age series and Anthem. Unfortunately, he had been diagnosed ten years ago with a rare form of blood cancer in his spine. Hayden says the event has caused him to evaluate his life and ultimately realize he has dedicated most of his time to creating other people’s games....

When news broke last month about the upcoming Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point miniseries, fans were left wondering which characters they would see both on paper and in Fortnite. Now, as per the solicitations revealed by DC Comics, G.I Joe’s fan-favorite commando, Snake Eyes, is slated to appear in the third issue. The Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point miniseries, set to release on April 20th, will focus on the Zero Point storyline that was first introduced to Fortnite in Season 5....

Earlier this month, Epic Games unveiled an impressive new Fortnite Battle Royale cosmetic called the Galaxy skin. Some weapons are deadly for their efficiency against groups, others for high damage, and some for how simple it was to obliterate large or heavily armored foes....

Gears Tactics is now out, and the game has been fairly well-received as a competent strategy game thus far. However, it can be a difficult experience, so one might want to make use of changing the difficulty. To start the game out with, Gears Tactics will have players select one from four difficulty levels when creating a save file. The difficulty levels are Beginner, Intermediate, Experienced, and Insane. While players should optimally pick the best difficulty for them based on their level of experience with strategy games, and not necessarily Gears of War games, from the get-go, you can later change the difficulty level....
