Releasing earlier this year on PC, Football Manager 21 was yet another success for the coveted sports simulation franchise, bagging an 85 on Metacritic. This year’s entry also saw the franchise take a substantial new step, porting the release over to consoles for the first time in a decade with Football Manager 21: Xbox Edition. To celebrate such a monumental occasion for both Football Manager’s biggest fans and its developers, the team over at Sports Interactive is offering a celebratory prize for a select number of lucky franchise aficionados....

After weeks of build-up, Epic Games has finally released Fortnite Season 3: Splashdown, covering the game’s map with water. The official launch trailer for Splashdown shows off some of the additions to the popular battle royale, including the ability to waterski behind loot sharks, but one of the more interesting things in the trailer is a reference to the iconic fighting game franchise Mortal Kombat. About 15 seconds into the trailer, the cat-human hybrid Agent Meowscles rides past a nautical platform using a loot shark....

While video game movies have fallen under hard times as of late, a new renaissance is set to begin in 2015 that hopes to shed some of that stigma. Anime fans have reason to rejoice, as the Funimation app is available for the Xbox Series X already despite the console just launching today. Naturally, viewers will still need a subscription in order to get the most out of the app, but it’s nice to see that the Xbox Series X is hitting the ground running with more than just games, but also a massive library of great anime. In generations past, a new console sometimes felt barren, as there weren’t a ton of games or things to do on it in general....

The much anticipated Dragonspine region finally arrived in Genshin Impact with the game’s newest update, Version 1.2. Players have been enjoying new quests, playable characters, enemies, and even weapons, since earlier last week when the patch was released. With regard to weapons, the latest Genshin Impact update introduced three new forgeable four-stars that have sent players scrambling in pursuit of Northlander Weapon Prototypes. In short, four-star weapons that can be crafted require Northlander Weapon Prototypes of the appropriate kind - for example, a four-star sword requires a Northlander Sword Prototype, and so on and so forth....
