As 2020 finally comes to a close, now is the time for reflection on the year in its entirety. Looking back, the developers of the iconic racing franchise Forza Motorsport appear to have had a great year for the video game industry. Washington-based developers Turn 10 Studios recently posted a look back at all that Forza Motorsport has achieved and produced this calendar year. The results show the work of a diligent studio, which has continued to bring not only new offerings to its existing series, but a lot of fun in a year when people needed it most....

Google has announced the Stadia Pro lineup for March, which includes the new Stadia exclusive, PixelJunk Raiders. Three other titles join the roguelike, including Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle, Reigns, and AVICII Invector. All four titles will become available to Pro members on March 1. Gears of War developer The Coalition is now working on a new intellectual property. The Vancouver-based studio assumed developmental duties of the fabled Gears of War franchise when Microsoft acquired its rights from Epic Games in 2014, creating both a retrospective Ultimate Edition and a continuation of the franchise with Gears of War 4. Now, it seems the studio is venturing out beyond the well-known IP to create something entirely new....

Childe plays a central role in Genshin Impact’s story during the Liyue chapter and is seen by many as a force of chaos. He is a 5-star hydro character with the unique ability to switch between using a bow, his main weapon, and a spear. Due to his unique combat style, he is highly sought after by players of Genshin Impact. There’s a rogues’ gallery of famous faces halting their professional lives to tear up Night City, as Cyberpunk 2077 finally releases. One person who might not be as thrilled is voice actor Doug Cockle, who was left slightly deflated after CD Projekt Red failed to approach him for a cameo. Doug Cockle isn’t just any voice actor. Without him, The Witcher’s Geralt of Rivia may have sounded completely different. One of the biggest concerns about the Google Stadia platform is that it’s promising a lot, but has provided little in terms of actual proof of how well it will work in the average home. Those concerns have now been amplified by the reveal that there won’t be a beta test for the service.
