November in now in full swing and Black Friday is on the horizon. With it will be sales of gaming equipment, consoles, and of course video games. GameStop has already announced what will be on sale for its 2020 Black Friday, with many popular titles having their prices slashed. With both the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5 being released before Black Friday, which falls on November 27th this year, gamers will be able to purchase them at GameStop on the hectic sale day....

This past week, GameStop has been running the first phase of its Tax Day 2021 sale. The sale included some discounts on Nintendo Switch exclusive games, deals on multiplatform PlayStation and Xbox titles, and extra trade-in credit for video game consoles. Now GameStop is set to launch its second set of Tax Day 2021 deals, giving shoppers the opportunity to get even more video games at a discount. The second phase of GameStop’s Tax Day sales event runs from March 7 to March 13....

As revealed recently on Twitter, Gears 5 will be adding yet another set of fresh guest cameos to its roster today, with WWE superstars The New Day making their debut in the Xbox exclusive franchise. Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, and Big E are all available to slaughter Locust hordes with, coming complete with a set of colorful armor inspired by their larger than life in-ring gear. To celebrate the trio’s arrival in the world of Gears 5, Xbox has released a new trailer showcasing the Raw Tag Team Champions joining the fight to eradicate the Locust armies....

The Gears of War 4 multiplayer beta began a few days ago, but the rollout hasn’t gone exactly to plan due to problems with the distribution of beta codes. There may be a while to go before the highly-anticipated Gears of War 4 is released in October, but players are already getting an early taste of some gory action with the game’s recently-launched multiplayer beta test. However, it appears that some players haven’t been able to access the Gears of War 4 beta due to a few issues with the distribution of beta codes....

One of the weekly tasks in Genshin Impact that you should be sure to add to your to-do list is weekly requests. Weekly requests are a great way to level-up your city’s reputation. Every request you complete will give you 40 city reputation experience, which helps to unlock new wings and special blueprints. The requests reset every Monday, and only three requests can be taken on a week, regardless if you took them all in Mondstadt or not....

Mihoyo – the studio behind Genshin Impact – today announced a release window for its romance detective game, Tears of Themis. The mobile title is expected to launch on iOS and Android later this summer and will be available for free. If you’ve come to know Mihoyo because of Genshin Impact, Tears of Themis might take you by surprise. Instead of roaming around a sprawling open-world slaying Hilichurls, you’ll be engrossed in the legal world – investigating crime scenes as a new lawyer at the Themis Law Firm, while building relationships with four unique protagonists....

Genshin Impact developer Mihoyo is bringing its otome game for iOS and Android to the west with an official English localization. Tears of Themis will head to mobile devices with a limited closed beta next month, beginning May 8 and wrapping up on May 18. Tears of Themis is a mystery romance adventure that’s been out for some time in China. After a string of abnormalities in a big city, violence breaks out amongst those who are usually the closest....

Fans of Genshin Impact have certainly been vocal ever since the game launched a little less than two weeks ago. Whether it comes to what features they think developer miHoYo should add in the next update, or who they believe the best characters in Genshin Impact are, players seem to have no problem giving their opinions on the game. Now it seems these players can give their opinion directly to miHoYo through a new survey the developer has started circulating....

Nightfall Games has unveiled a preview PDF of their upcoming Terminator tabletop RPG. A 44-page quick play guide, the PDF is available on DrivethruRPG for pay what you want, with a suggested donation of $1.00 (but you can pay $0 if you’re a bit tight on cash). Those 44 pages contain everything you need to get a feel for the full game, which will hit Kickstarter in February. It includes a full rundown of the essential skills, seven pre-made characters, and a single scenario you can try along with five of your friends....

Ghost of Tsushima’s second life is about to begin after the game’s launch earlier this summer. Now that the Ghost of Tsushima: Legends’ release date is finally here, fans of the game have tons of brand new content to look forward to. In the 18 or so months that it has been available, Pokemon GO has made over $1 billion and it has also renewed the interest in AR (augmented reality) games which use a smartphone camera to interact and find fun in the world around us. Because of that interest, plenty of developers and major entertainment brands have gotten in on the AR gaming scene....

Last year’s God of War showed players a different side of Kratos providing the much-needed character development that delved deep into his relationship with son Atreus. A couple of months ago, reports surfaced how one of God of War’s best moments was almost cut from the game. However, things could have really gone the other way given that Santa Monica Studios also considered replacing Kratos as the game’s protagonist. In a conversation with Gamelab in Barcelona, game director Cory Barlog revealed that during the early conceptualization of God of War, some developers felt that it was the right time to let go of Kratos....

Leaked voice clips from an Avengers datamine suggest the voice actor for Kratos in God of War will be assuming the role of Black Panther. Suffice to say the world has been hit with an abundance of bad news so far in 2020. While the pandemic has been responsible for much of that, a few other losses have also hit many of us pretty hard. In August, the unexpected death of Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman left millions of people around the world stunned and heartbroken....

Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out And Preorder – because a gorgeous Persona 5 Dancing Ann figure is now available from the Good Smile Company. The 1/7th scale figure will cost around $160 and will be released in October 2021. Including the base, Ann will be around 21cm in height and is made of ABS and PVC materials. The figure will be available to preorder until November 26. The Ball Stage outfit resembles her appearance in the rhythm-based spinoff series and is based on the key art from the game’s developer....

Board games created from video game properties are nothing. In fact, we recently got confirmation from Konami about the Metal Gear Solid Risk board game. There have been many analog versions of video games, but this custom version of Monopoly based on the Mass Effect series has to be the best yet. This isn’t an official release of the board game. It’s actually a custom board game created by an artist who goes by the name of tommyfilth on DeviantArt....

In the game Fate/Grand Order the player is tasked with traveling through time to prevent Mage-King Solomon from destroying mankind. Along the way the player must acquire servants who lend their powers for the good of mankind. One of these servants is Ereshkigal, only usable during special events. This Lancer class servant is one of the most powerful in the lore and her backstory is only slowly revealed as she improves and levels up....

Final Fantasy 12 is full of battle challenges for players, and while most of these are in the form of Hunt Marks, some are just traditional optional bosses that can be found hidden in the world. One of the optional bosses that are not a Hunt Mark is Hell Wyrm, and defeating it is a prerequisite to being able to tackle the super boss Yiazmat. Defeating Hell Wyrm will earn you the “Radiant Savior” achievement/trophy....
