Not too long ago, the video game developer Epic Games added a fresh SMG to Fortnite’s free-to-play Battle Royale portion, considerably beefing up the wildly popular multiplayer sandbox survival shooter’s wide ranging armory of weapons. Now, it looks as if the studio is set to bring in yet another sub-machine gun, by teasing the forthcoming addition of what’s being called the Compact SMG. As seen in the image below from the Redditor and Fortnite Battle Royale fan known as TheGoldScrew, the in-game news feed for the hybrid construction shooter has declared that the Compact SMG is “Coming Soon!...

If there’s anything in this cruel, random world we can count on, it should be the Teen Choice Awards. Seriously. Teens are pretty predictable in their tastes, not to mention vocal on social media. And indeed, the winners of Sunday’s award show were blatantly popular things: Infinity War took Choice Action Movie, Zac Efron and Zendaya won Choice Movie Ship for their paring in The Greatest Showman, and Fortnite naturally took Choice Video Game....

At the moment, glitches and bugs in Fortnite are probably the least of Epic Games’ problems. The new guided missile in Fortnite is turning the game into the deadliest platformer that ever existed. Well, maybe not, since most platformers are pretty deadly. The weapon is, as described, a missile that you can remote control from afar and blow up people from long distances–the perfect thing when you’re pinned behind a tree and can’t poke your head out for fear of getting it blown off....

One Redditor discovered a reference to a crossbow while searching through the Ghost Recon: Wildlands DLC files, hinting at the inclusion of the unique weapon. Over the years, Electronic Arts has been criticized for the lack of updates to its fabled FIFA career mode. Cloud and the rest of Avalanche have defeated the Whispers, defying their fates, and succeeded in fleeing Midgar after their attack on Shinra Headquarters. In the original game, this moment saw Cloud and the others leaving Midgar into the game’s overworld for the first time....

When Final Fantasy VII Remake was first announced, the fans assumed that it was going to be a remake of the entirety of Final Fantasy VII. Square Enix later revealed that Final Fantasy VII Remake would only cover the Midgar section of the original Final Fantasy VII, but that it would be expanded to the length of a full game.
