Epic Games’ hit free-to-play battle royale, Fortnite, had quite an interesting year in 2020. From the game’s expansive map becoming almost completely covered in water, to the addition fan favorite Marvel POI’s during its Marvel-themed season. And with a bounty hunter theme in Fortnite’s most recent season, fans were greeted with even more changes to the game’s map. Although a bounty hunter theme is much more general than something like an entire season based on Marvel properties, Epic Games of course found ways to continue to bring crossovers to the game in its most recent season with the addition of The Mandalorian....

The expected start of Fortnite’s Season 10 is just days away and Epic Games has begun releasing teasers for the event. Three teasers have been released so far, each featuring a large neon “X,” each hinting at a story scenario involving time travel. Fortnite Season 10’s third teaser is of special interest, however. It teases two new skins, that appear to be new, updated versions of classic Fortnite skins. Although they were revealed about a week ago in a massive leak that also uncovered week 3 and 4 challenges, the Fortnite season 6 week 2 challenges have been officially revealed. Sometimes, these leaks are inaccurate or are changed by launch, but that does not appear to be the case. Friday the 13th The Game developer Gun Media has offered an update on its forthcoming patch for PS4 and Xbox One, saying that progress is being made but no firm release date has been nailed down. The PC version of Friday the 13th, however, has been working of the latest patch for several days now, which has led to frustration among console players. To say that things have gone less than smooth since Friday the 13th’s launch on Friday the 26th would be putting it mildly....

Music games are hoping to make a comeback, and FUSER, a game centered around mixing vocals, beats, and melodies from over 100 songs, is looking to lead the way. The game is being developed by Harmonix, a Boston-based company that developed both the Rock Band series and the first few Guitar Hero games. Capcom has released a new dev diary revealing the Ghosts ’n Goblins revival’s four different game modes, ahead of the game’s release on February 25. The developers are set to have a fulfilling year ahead with Monster Hunter Rise and Resident Evil Village also slated for release in 2021. It has been some time since Sony Santa Monica provided some intel on the God of War sequel, originally slated for release this year. Now, the fans of the franchise have gotten a new hint about Atreus’s potential role in the follow-up. Google has announced this year’s winners of the Best of Play awards, and the game that took home Users’ Choice is one of the biggest upsets in recent memory.
