Gary Oldman has been named as a defendant in a lawsuit over his 2017 war drama Darkest Hour, in which he starred as British prime minister Winston Churchill. The suit, filed by screenwriter and teacher Ben Kaplan on September 18th, alleges that Darkest Hour took multiple elements from Kaplan’s unproduced script, which had been the focus of a project that Oldman was briefly attached to in early 2015. The suit claims breach of implied contract, unfair business practices, interference with contract, and false designation of origin under federal trademark law....

About a month ago, a datamine of Fortnite Battle Royale’s game files uncovered that Epic Games intended on including a new teammate respawn mechanic in its free-to-play multiplayer shooter at some point in the future. Now, it looks as if the studio has actually followed through with an update that has brought what it is calling “Reboot Vans” into the wildly successful multi-platform battle royale release. For those wondering how Fortnite’s Reboot Vans work, when a squad member is eliminated during the course of a match, they will drop a Reboot Card that remains active for the next 90 seconds after they are killed....

Due to some technical issues yesterday, many Fortnite fans encountered frustrations when they attempted to play the game, which has led to Epic Games promising players certain compensation for the server downtime. Following this, the company has now released the patch notes for the title’s next update, Version 2.4.0, and has confirmed the addition of Miniguns to the game’s Battle Royale mode.
