It’s no surprise that Square Enix’s unveiling of Final Fantasy 16 excited fans of the series about what next-gen could mean for the future of the developer’s flagship titles. However, while the PlayStation 5 Showcase trailer did introduce players to a whole new world for the series, there are some clues that this game may be a part of a separate series from within the Final Fantasy franchise. Certain aspects of Final Fantasy 16’s lore and story make mention of key concepts that may land the game into the Fabula Nova Crystallis series of interconnected Final Fantasy titles....

Final Fantasy 7 Remake doesn’t cover the entirety of the Final Fantasy 7 story, and instead only adapts Cloud’s first exploits in Midgar. While the game’s title may not give any such indication, Square Enix only plans for it to be the first in an upcoming series, but it has never mentioned how many parts said series would be exactly. Thus, the interviewers behind the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Ultimania went ahead and asked when they had a chance to sit down with Producer Yoshinori Kitase and Co-Director Tetsuya Nomura....

Considering the relative youth of the medium, it’s only natural that Batman’s video game outings haven’t garnered him the same legacy as his comic, cinematic, or animated affairs. Find a spaceship and get easy XP with Fortnite’s Astro-Not challenge. A secret challenge makes a return to Fortnite in Season two, Chapter three called the Astro-Not challenge. Frequent players of the game will find this a very familiar once they complete it, specifically if you were around for the Ancient Ship event a while back. Frostpunk takes place in an alternate timeline where volcanic eruptions caused a worldwide volcanic winter. This game will have you play as “The Captain,” a person whose whole mission is to lead a group of people into a new city and help them survive. It’s been nearly four months since GlaDOS toyed with our emotions in test chamber after test chamber in the critically acclaimed, and commercial smash-hit, Portal 2. Now, the malicious AI, or rather the actress (Ellen McLain) who voices the fan-favorite Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System, was outed on the Twitter-verse by her husband, announcing that McLain will be voicing a character in Valve’s “New Game” - for science of course, you monster....

PlayStation fans looking forward to the next God of War game would love even a bit of information about the sequel. Yet, for now, the sequel’s development hasn’t even been confirmed. God of War developer Sony Santa Monica Studio is definitely hard at work on something, though. In the meantime, God of War fans will have to settle for what is confirmed. With each holiday or major event, Google releases one of its classic Google Doodles to commemorate it. Sometimes these can be educational, like when a famous person has a birthday or the like.
