Epic Games appears to be implementing a policy for the benefit of good Fortnite players caught up in bad situations. Epic is doing a great job so far of eliminating hackers, cheaters, griefers, and jerks from ruining Fortnite for other players, but sometimes a regular player throws red flags on accident and ends up mistakenly banned. While Epic can’t give those players back their banned time, they can apologize and make players’ returns a little sweeter....

Talocan, a 17-year-old Fortnite sensation, is the game’s highest level player thanks to an unconventional strategy. Fortnite Battle Pass has spawned a long list of serial grinders, whose names have appeared on official leaderboards since the game’s inception. If you’ve followed the game since the beginning, you might remember some of Fortnite’s biggest names griping over their place on the leaderboard in the total “kills” or “wins” categories. Battle Pass level however, isn’t a statistic kept under official tally by Epic Games, which makes Talocan’s story even stranger....

This week, Friday the 13th added its first piece of new content with the release of Retro Jason into the game. However, some are confused as to how to unlock Retro Jason, since developer Gun Media didn’t make it exactly clear what they were adding. As it turns out, Retro Jason is actually a skin for the Part 3 Jason that is already in Friday the 13th. To access the skin all players need to do is click in the right stick on console or click the ‘Change Skin’ button on PC....

Yesterday, the entire gaming community was thrown into an absolute panic when GameStop began calling everyone who had pre-ordered Team Ico’s The Last Guardian to inform them that the much anticipated game had been cancelled. GameStop, the Fortune 500 company based out of Grapevine, Texas, used to have a sizeable hold in the games market, but has been struggling over the past several years. GameStop finally entered into an agreement with RC Ventures, an investment group led by Ryan Cohen, along with Alan Attal and Jim Grube. After news broke last month that Google was discontinuing the Pixel 4, its flagship smartphone from last year, people have been interested to see its successor, the Pixel 5. Final Fantasy 14 is one of the best MMORPGs out there, and has a ton of dungeons for players to explore. They range vastly in level and there are a ton of different bosses with mechanics that the players need to figure out in order to survive. The enjoyability of these dungeons vary among the Final Fantasy 14 fandom. Some are too easy, some are too hard, and there are some with tedious mechanics that are pretty frustrating....

Square Enix announces a link between Final Fantasy 15 and the upcoming NieR: Automata, which will allow players in one game to access a weapon from the other. RPG fans who are delving into Final Fantasy 15 – but also eagerly awaiting the launch of NieR: Automata – will have a nice surprise awaiting them when they eventually tackle Platinum Games’ title, which is slated to release early next year.
